We had La Verdad catered to our office last week and the food was delicious. Insane mac and cheese, and the pulled pork and chicken were amazing too. The owner delivered the food for us and she was so sweet! We will definitely be ordering from La Verdad again! I almost forgot the desserts, but they are worth mentioning we had chocolate cake, a 7up bread and corn bread and they were amazing as well. Moist and Delicious

Ordered two tacos and a rice bowl. They wrote "B2 G1 free" tacos on the box and I thought "Oh I'll remember that for next time" only to open the box and find three delicious tacos! Food is amazing and the atmosphere and staff were great. Highly recommend! And goodness do they give you a lot of food!

Literally the best food I had in so long. the flavor was amazing. It even tastes better than my favorite restaurant Lucia’s on the lake !!! Customer service was excellent and the pop and sweet corn bread that came with it was a nice surprise.

What a lovely place to stumble into, fantastic barbecue, good vibes and they were super helpful, even if you have a limited diet, like myself on the keto diet, they got the meats and the veggies and oh boy did I want to cheat to try her cornbread... do not pass this place by!
Our 1st time visiting LaVerdad Cafe! 1st of all their Gouda Mac n Cheese was Fantastic ?!!! And I'm really picky about mac n cheese! And the Burnt ends and Brisket both were very good as well! My ONLY complaint was it was Freezing! Because they had the smoker going and had the fan and also had no heat on for the customers out where we sat to eat

We were at the Shea's Seneca Theater for the craft show today and got La Verdad takeout. Soooooo Good!!!! I had pork sliders with mac and cheese and cole slaw. Each taste was as delicious as the next. And everyone was helpful and festive. Thank-you. I'll be visiting the cafe soon.

Are you kidding me? This place is a hidden gem! Easily the best barbecue I've ever had... Vivian came over to ask us how the food was, if the serving sizes were large enough. My co-worker ordered burnt ends on the Benzingers Gouda Mac. She let me have a bite, the flavor was insane. I ordered 3 tacos with burnt ends and pulled chicken. The kale slaw is amazing on the tacos, the value of the tacos is incredible. I cannot recommend La Verdad enough to anybody who finds themselves in Lovejoy!!!
