If you're looking for a warm and casual place to grab a fantastic brew, be sure to check out Magic Bear. Whether it's your first time or hundredth time visiting, you'll feel right at home. The owner, Craig, is knowledgable and one of the kindest shop owners you'll meet. If you're a beer nerd, Craig and his staff will never fail to give you a recommendation that matches or expands your palate. If you're not, they'll be just as sure to find something that you like. Definitely check this place out!

We've been wanting to try this place, but kept hitting it at times it wasn't open. We couldn't quite tell what it was. Going down Seneca tonight we see it's open. Quick u-turn and book it on in there. Immediately upon entering this guy says hello, have you been in before? We say no and sit down at the bar whereupon this guy (Craig/owner) explains that all the stuff in the coolers is for sale and they also have taps. He explained that taps 5-7 always has IPA's. 5 is frequently a DIPA and 6 and 7 could be fruity/juicy and/or west coast IPA. We had a 5 and 6, a DIPA and an IPA by Fathead. They were both very tasty. I was very impressed by the introduction when we walked in. The owner, Craig, explained how his business worked. It's similar to Aurora Brea Works but opposite. Aurora is a store that serves some beer and Bear is a bar that also sells beer to take out. They have trivia on Thursday nights. Open every evening except Monday. This place is extremely homey and comfortable. The bar stools are soft and inviting, there's a few screens and it's clean and completely inviting. There's some food to order or you can bring in whatever you want. He gave us a small bowl of chips, which was unexpected and nice. If you want a completely low key night, come here, grab a beer or wine or cider and maybe something to take home.

Real cute place with a good atmosphere. Wide beer selection between the drafts and the beer wall & fridge. Bartender was great and friendly. They just have bar snacks, not a full food menu but the snacks are really good, loved the whipped ricotta with pita. They allow you to bring food from Food Truck Tuesdays at Larkin too. Would go back!

Fantastic beer selection with friendly knowledgeable staff. Matt was awesome and took time to explain so much about the beer and food menu. Craig prepared and served us the best white bean and pesto dip anywhere! We finished with bar cake. Surprisingly, the beer and food paired well. Their expertise of beer and food would be hard to match.

This was my first time going with my in-laws . I had the best experience 10 out of 10! And if anyone wants to try a new drink just say number 9 ! Will definitely be going back soon !

OK, my bad. My mistake. I'm so disappointed in myself. This place I should have visited a long time ago when they 1st opened. I didn't, and definitely, my loss. It was such a great experience for my wife and I. This place has so much to offer, but today, we focused on the taps. The tasting flights were awesome, and the variety of beer delisiously overwhelmed every aspect of our pallette. The owner was so knowledgeable in all things that made up this great establishment and genuinely just a nice guy. The addition of food options to snack on was a definite bonus. The atmosphere was quite pleasant with just enough entertainment for anyone to enjoy based on what they would need to feel entertained. I looked around the room at one point, and everyone was happy and content. What more can you ask for when you are looking for some time out away from the home. This was my 1st visit, and by far, it will not be my last. THANK YOU.

Stopped here as part of our 2023 WNY Beer Trail Pass. Very cool, clean quiet place to enjoy a variety of beers at. There was mini donut holes on the counter to eat and he gave us a bowl of chips while we were sitting there as well. Its little things like that, that will make us come back. Cheers ?
