Finally, there is a Hispanic restaurant near me. I found it on Facebook. You were welcomed when you entered the restaurant. I had pre ordered my dinner, and it was enough food for 3-4 people. I had salad, plantains, garlic sauce, the snapper was cooked perfectly, great seasoning and crispy, and the Spanish rice was delicious, I will definitely recommend this business when you are craving Spanish food

Pastelitos we're freshly cooked, quick, and delicious! Nice neighborhood cafe!

Nice cozy little spot tucked away in a neighborhood off the main areas of the city. Worth making your way over if you crave some Puerto Rican. Was greeted by the friendly ladies behind the counter who took some time to show me what they had for the day. Decided on some pastelitos, beef n cheese and some pizza ones for the kids. Pulled pork dinner with fried plantains and some beef stew. Everything was delicious and if you like garlic get the oil over the plantains. My first time here but will definitely be back as this was some good home style like cooking in my opinion.

Yesss, first to review this hidden gem!! Ok tbh my hubby found this place to surprise me for Mother's Day. He knows nothing makes me happier than some gooooood Puerto Eican food and oh M G was the food sooooooooo good *literally drooling as I type this*. So kudos to my hubby for finding this place and on to my review: I posted a pic of the menu but I'm gonna assume it changes (weekly? daily? hmm...) but Mely has a FB page that they uldate frequently so go there if you wanna know what they're whipping up or give them a ring. I went for the pernil with rice + beans, tostones and salad. Hubby ordered the bistec guisado also with rice + beans and tostones. Picky kiddo #1 only wanted fries and kiddo #2 wanted three beef and cheese empanadas (or pastelitos depending on what you're used to calling it). We wanted to dine-in (there are three 2-seat booth like tables) but the food was served in to-go containers which is a GREAT thing... because the portion is so generous we had to take some home with us... which turned out to be awesome because: I don't wanna cook when I can have tasty leftovers tonight or for lunch tmw! Thumbs up from me and my hubs - he went as far as to compare it taste like his momma's awesome cooking (which says A LOT because even I can't replicate my mil's recipes!). No complains from kiddo 1 'bout her fries other than it being too much. We didn't think kiddo 2 would finish more than 1 of 3 empanadas but he ate 2 and 1/2... and these were big ones! He was unwilling to share or give away his last half because they were sooo good and all his. So my fam found the best place for tasty PR food in WNY and ... we'll be back (said with infamous Schwarzenegger voice).
