I have been to the store front a couple times - loved the decor and especially the homeade poptarts. When it came time for our wedding, I knew I wanted to use Mundycakes. Amanda (Mundy) was responsive and accomodating when we had to postpone due to the virus. I had her make a cinnamon toast crunch geode cake and multiple flavors of mini cupcakes and everything was delicious. I believe they are no longer doing the store front operation, but I would recommend Mundycakes for your special event!

We first came across Mundy Cakes while looking for a local baker for our wedding cakes. We had no idea at the time how much we'd fall in love with this bakery! Their cake flavors are amazing. It was hard to choose just a couple for our big day, but our ultimate favorite is almond raspberry. We also just tried their poptarts... these are life changing! Try all flavors, you won't be sorry. Cupcakes and cookies may look cute, but they don’t taste all that great, especially for the price. Cookies were stale and the cupcake had little flavor. If you want a good bakery in buffalo, go to Five Points, Ohlson’s, or 96 Lives (if you’re vegan).

Bought some of the naughty valentines day cookies and they were OUTSTANDING. They were simultaneously the cutest & raunchiest cookies I've ever had. I bought them a few days ago and they are still fresh and addictively tasty. Excited to visit again on my next trip to Buffalo!

As soon as I walked up to this place I loved it. The decor is cute and welcoming. I visited around 12:30pm on Friday and there weren't many cupcakes left but I was able to get 7 different kinds. I tried the raspberry almond and it was so moist and the flavor was sweet but not overwhelming. The red velvet was also soft and rich. The cinnamon toast crunch had a really good cinnamon sugar flavor. The people that tried the other cupcakes really liked those as well. Mundy Cakes' sugar cookies look good and there is a good variety available for Valentine's Day. Funny and cheeky too. The price is good; $3 to $3.50 per cupcake and $5 for the large decorated sugar cookies (when you see them I think they're worth it). The cakes to order looked beautiful and very nicely decorated as well.

Not only gorgeous looking cookies but also quite delicious. It wasn't my intention to eat the whole thing, but man, I couldn't stop biting into the delightful crunch of frosting and melting in my mouth sweet dough. I'm not a sweet tooth person. Usually after the first taste of anything made mostly of sugar, I feel guilty and without any pleasure. In this case, the joy of having the Lunar New Year Cookie was beyond my ability to resist. Apology to my friends who I was supposed to share the cookie with. It's gone, but I know where to get more, and next time I'll treat you with anything you want from Mundy Cakes.

This adorable and delicious cookie deserves a review - look at the intricate detail on thiis rat, created for the Yelp celebration of the Lunar new year, and year of the rat. It was a tasty buttery cookie!! I will be visiting Mundy for my future confection needs.

Ahh! After seeing this place open and all of the strong five star reviews, I have been so eager to head to Mundy Cakes and FINALLY did, but was so disappointed- not so much about product quality, which is obviously there- but the overall experience; I was expecting more. First off, no price list? There was a TV off the wall on a chair so maybe that is where it is usually displayed? My partner and I could not locate it anywhere. We stuck with one item each, a sugar cookie for him and a cupcake for me. There wasn't much in the case so options were limited. My cupcake, almond raspberry, had a great flavor profile but was really hard and cold, like it wasn't fully thawed yet. I am not a sugar cookie fan at all but after my obligatory bite of my boyfriend's selection, even I had to agree it was really good. The flavors and quality are what lend my experience to be four stars and not a three. I dig the space, it's hot pink and bright and bubbly, but I wasn't blown away like I expected. Hopefully a future visit will prove more promising.
