First dine in experience at Banana leaf; excellent experience; great service and delicious preparation! We enjoyed tea, samosa and masala dosa.Tried crab soup, wouldn’t recommend that.Certainly try goat chettinad and Chicken 65 biryani. I feel overall their preparation is great.

As our experience this shop has a good dosa and good kothu porota.other than that we got fish curry and rice ,ambur biriyani and chicken 65 biriyani which was really bad.their biriyani is like tomato rice.if u guys are focused on good biriyani plz don’t go here.they are very expensive too!!!

Service was awesome and food was tasty. The dosa was awesome. The fish although a bit pricey was super tasty. They also had some north Indian food like naan, and that was fresh and tasty too. Will definitely come back here. You know a place is good when you see lots of locals eating there too.

Wonderful showcase of South Indian and Chettinad fast-casual cuisine. If you get excited by words like idli, sambar, dosa, vada and korma, this location is a must-visit. A handwashing station outside the rest rooms is a welcome affordance.A few small issues with the facility impact the dining experience. The vinyl floor covering outside the rest room is very slippery, possibly not suited to the application. The proxemics of lighting fixtures are not well-matched to the seating placement, such that my head collided with a lamp when I stood up.Still, it is worth driving long distances to enjoy the food and high level of service here.

Went there tonight for their unlimited dosai night that they advertised on Facebook. Walked in and was seated right away. They brought out their menu. There was nothing on the menu or an additional/special menu that highlighted that it was in fact their unlimited dosai night. Would have liked them to promote that it was unlimited dosai night. With that said, the food my sister and I did get, was tasty! The service was excellent and so was the atmosphere! This place is almost as good as my favorite South Indian restaurant in Scarborough Canada!

Excellent Food, Service and Ambience !!!I live in Atlanta area (with plenty of Indian restaurant options including South Indian Authentic restaurants) and visited my family in Buffalo area for the Holidays. I should say Nellai Banana Leaf is on par (especially with food taste) with some of the best Indian restaurants in Atlanta area. For sure, I'll come here to dine-in every time I visit the Buffalo area..Vegetarian options: Out of the 5 people we went, two of them are Vegetarian. They loved the food just like how the 2 Non-vegetarians loved ours..Dietary restrictions: Several Gluten free options in the menu..

While nothing hardly is hardly open, Thanksgiving or Thanksgiving Eve. This restaurant was open and well visited. We were here twice, as we had to order take out food for the non turkey eaters, which is fairly large in my household. We ordered tandoori chicken and fish fry. Fish was crispy and tender while chicken was mixed with a few pieces that were tender and the other few fibery. Chutney was diluted but had flavor to it.We had a slightly longer than the given pickup time. While the ambiance is standard for an Indian restaurant. My experience was mixed, May being should have tried in the restaurant. My aunt, who lives nearby, frequents this restaurant.

I loved it. Yes the service was slow but the food was excellent and worth the wait. I had a tamarind eggplant dish that blew my mind with tangy deliciousness and the spinach and paneer dish was also excellent. I'll be back for more!
