Ordered dinner this week...Excellent..just as I remembered. Mouth watering bracciole, just like nana made years ago. Eggplant parmesan was tasty and plentiful portion, and the stuffed banana peppers were outstanding. Sausage and cheese filled...yummmm. Of course you can't not order a slice of Tony's delicious cassata cake. Piece was big enough to share.I did drive up curb side pickup and was greeted by sweet Katie who had my order out within minutes. Food was still hot when I got home. I'll be back soon?

I can never get enough! This locally owned Italian restaurant has recipes that have been passed down for generations and nothing has been lost with the years gone by. From traditional pasta dishes to the most incredible Braciole! It's out of this world delicious! I fell in love with a new item To me, the spinach-ricotta pizza. Light olive oil with the perfect amount of fresh spinach, garlic and spices on a thin homemade crust. Unreal!! During the pandemic they are only doing take out- will bring to your car for you. It's important to support local during this time and you can't go Wrong with Panaro. It may be a bit out of your way, but I guarantee, it is worth it.

Panaros is now open for curbside pick up on Wednesday, Thursday & Friday, which was perfect because I happened to be up in Buffalo today! Ordering online and picking up was very easy! I ordered the pasta fagioli soup, the old fashioned pizza and of course, the sponge candy cannoli. Everything was incredible. I even had a 90 minute ride home and everything held up really well on the drive. I will say, it was very difficult to not break into the pizza on the drive though. Do yourself a favor this week and treat yourself to dinner here!

We ordered last night for more than one meal. The online ordering system is professional and logical. The order was ready five minutes before the appointed time, and we were so notified with a text. Pick up was very smooth. The pasta e fagioli is authentic and Panaros is justly proud of their Brachiole and Egg plant Parm. We wish them the best in their new format.

I live fairly close to Panaro's, but I'm almost always at work during their open hours, and work is further away. My family from out-of-town loves this place, and always eats there when they arrive since it's near the hotel they stay at--they can't be bothered to try any of the other eateries on Allen, because they like this place THAT much. My first taste of Panaro's was through the takeout cannoli and the veggie dandelion pizza my family kindly got me. The cannoli are excellent, though I prefer the classic chocolate chip over the special sponge candy flavor. (Yes, sponge candy isn't vegetarian since it has gelatin, but I felt like I had to try the sponge candy cannoli, since it's so hyped.) The veggie dandelion pizza is also great, and they do crust well. With the COVID-19 pandemic, I'm working from home (as much as one can work while also taking care of a toddler, anyhow) and decided to make the best of a crummy situation and finally order Panaro's myself. We ordered eggplant parm with side penne, Tony's Lazy Lasagna, veggie dandelion pizza, and a slice of the cassata cake. While everything was enjoyable, I think they would have been better if we could have enjoyed them on-site and not after schlepping them home, since the eggplant parm was soggy by the time I got to it. I also hadn't realized that there was meat in the sauce for Tony's Lazy Lasagna, since the menu description didn't mention it. If you're a vegetarian ordering anything with "homemade sauce," I would recommend double checking that they can use marinara instead of meat sauce for your order. The cassata cake also didn't have rum flavoring, which was a bummer since my husband's a fan of rum cake, but it was a nice yellow cake. I don't know if I love Panaro's as much as my out-of-town family does, but I certainly wish them well and hope that they weather this pandemic. Hopefully someday I can get there when there's no pandemic and dine in, even if it means taking time off work.

A quaint little Italian restaurant open for lunch. Nice atmosphere. Great table locations to do a little people watching along Delaware Avenue. Great menu and extremely reasonable prices. Just down the street from the Theodore Roosevelt Inauguration House.

The wait staff and the Panaro family always give service with a smile. The food is always packed with flavor, made with the freshest ingredients by a real Italian chef! Panaro's home made decadent desserts are some of the best I've ever had. This is a must go to lunch destination. Panaro's delivers and Carter's if you can't get to them. You gotta have a bite!

THIS RESTAURANT HAS GREAT FOOD... Unfortunately a post for one with a similar name got put up here and the owners were too nice to let me know themselves. But as it sat there forever, a kind friend of theirs reached out to let me know. So apologies! And gee goog, you do make it next to impossible to just delete it, move it ect. so, here-

This is another place that Siri challenged me to to try. Why a challenge? Because they are only open during the daytime on weekdays, 11a to 3p. As it was the end of the year, I had some PTO to use or lose. So yes, I actually took a day off from work to try this place, although I did have another reason to be downtown that day too. The menu is pretty big for a place that only really does lunch. There was plenty to choose from: appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches, Italian entrees, and desserts. I ordered the Eggplant Parmesan entree and a meatball. A few bites in, I realized the terrible flaw in the day's plan. Now I loved this place and the only way to eat here would be a day off from work. I'm super bummed that I didn't discover Panaro's when I worked and lived in the city. I ordered a cannoli for dessert. It was obvious that these were filled to order and had not sat around. It is notable that the cannoli shell was completely filled. I hate when folks fill the ends and leave the center hollow. The owners of Panaro's also own the Rolling Cannoli food truck. So at least I might be able to catch those out sometime. I also took a piece of Cassata Cake to go because how could I pass that up? This is a casual place, friendly service, and very fair prices. They also do catering, so maybe I'll have to find a way to get something catered by them, lol. If you work or live in the city, definitely don't miss out on this place like I somehow did for years.
