I love Rachel's in general and this is one of the better locations. Staff have never been rude to me or anyone I know the atmosphere is nice if not glamorous but that's hardly the fault of the restaurant itself, it's always clean and well maintained, it's just not in a particularly scenic area if that's what you're looking for, but it's in a very convenient location for many people. Parking might be a bit of an issue but I've never had to park more than a minute or two away though it might take me that long or longer to find a spot in the first place, but that's just part of the game of being basically downtown.Vegetarian options: Falafel is an option for a protein and just the salad on its own is very good.Dietary restrictions: Great for those with gluten related restrictions.
The food was fine, a bit expensive for the type of food available...but it was a healthy choice. It is hard to hear in that atmosphere and thus communicating with the staff was difficult. I couldn't tell if everything was gluten-free or not and the employee either didn't understand my question or couldn't hear me.

Stopped in for lunch, purchased the brown rice bowl with chicken souvlaki meat. Never disappoints, light and fresh and perfect for a quick lunch that doesn’t weigh you down.

Visit yesterday around 2 pm make long story short don’t eat here as I was paying for my food I seen a roach walk across the counter and another near utensils staff barley speaks any English was not friendly
I just bought a salad from Rachel's on South Elmwood in Buffalo and as I was paying a cockroach walked across the counter. I was so shocked I didn't say anything but I did throw out the salad and will never eat there again. Wasted 20 bucks but better than getting a food borne illness.

Expensive as hell but the taste is out this world. The price may not be for everyone or a large family, but everything they assemble hits the spot. I personally love the chicken over rice and/or romaine with the Rachel's house dressing and don't forget the pita.

Efficient. Quick. Confusing, though, on how to order hummus. No one told me I had to get it out of the case. They just put the pita in the bag. Wasn’t til later I noticed no hummus.

Filthy inside. Horrible staff, rude, and were out of rice and chicken at 5pm on a Friday. Clearly the Rachels franchise is struggling and isn’t what it once was. they have overextended with too many locations and lost the service and quality that made them great to begin with.
I love Rachels!
