I went to this location with high hopes because in my experience the Hertel Romeo and Juliet, especially the bakery items were very delicious. We first ordered salads but they all came minus dressing. After we requested, waited and finally received dressing, the salads were delicious. The other diners at our table seemed okay with their meal selections but not overly enthusiastic. I had had the Italian bean soup at the Hertel location and it was outstanding and authentic so I ordered it here. I was very disappointed, it seemed like someone just opened some canned beans and mixed it with some pasta-it had no flavor. It was very crowded and the waitress, pleasant as she was, was hurried and seemed a little overwhelmed with the number of tables she was tending. Except for the carrot cake which was very stale, the desserts, especially the cannoli, were excellent. With the number of great, authentic Italian restaurants around here, I probably wouldn't go back to this one.

We went for lunch and it was great! I had the lunch special, half a panini, bowl of soup and a cannoli for $18. You could get a soda instead of the cannoli but who would that, lol! I had the turkey with provolone panini and it was delicious! The soup was Italian Wedding and it also was yummy. My friend had the pasta fasoul and a vegetarian panini. Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch!!

Hands down the best for TRUE pizza. Pizza Bianca with chunks of sausage and anchovies embedded among the chunks of fresh tomatoes.....you won't find a better true pizza than this!

My family loves the family feel of this restaurant, and the food and service are great. The reason I am writing this review though, is that I called and asked for a reservation for 22 people during Christmas week, and the owner said yes right away, with no questions or hesitations! He was so kind and we had great service! We really appreciated how he made our family Christmas dinner such an easy thing to pull off, and everyone loved it! We’ll be back soon!
