Big Mood is one of the few all plant-based eateries in Buffalo and it lives up to its reputation. I’ve had their burgers and sandwiches, and they tasted delicious. Good prices for the quality given. The customer service was also warm and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this to all my friends whether they’re vegan or not. It’s a place whose food is popular with all :)

Used to be a beacon of hope for the vegan community of WNY, but they quickly fell from grace and became more focused on their "Instagram-ability" as opposed to making good food. Went from pricey but delicious to exorbitant & gross. Also, they seem to have all new workers every time I'm in there... wonder what that's about. Should have stayed as Root n' Bloom... RIP

I thought this place was going to be good but honestly it’s just way over priced for what you get. I’ve been vegan for a while now and 16 dollars for a vegan chicken sandwich (that does not come with fries) is insane. Then another 5 bucks for fries that weren’t even seasoned. The food was pretty good but man, not worth the insane price point.

⚠️ They have a Patio! The place looks like you have nowhere to sit if you come in as a group but they have a patio you just can’t tell at all unless they mention it to you so if you saw the place full from the outside I suggest that you come in first so you don’t miss the opportunity to try the food!Food is good and the whole menu is Vegan! It’s so far my go to Vegan place in Buffalo ??

The food was absolutely delicious and the staff was professional and masked!

Used to love this place for their jackfruit wings, but their portions shrank drastically while the price stayed the same. I've ordered them a few times to make sure it wasn't just a one-off mistake. Nope. These wings are perpetually tiny now. They are delicious, but I can't justify spending $12 on these teeny tiny pieces anymore. They used to be twice this size! *sigh* Their Mac and cheese has also been hit or miss. Before their rebranding, I used to dream about that Mac and cheese--so good! I ordered it recently, and it was over cooked to the point where I didn't even want to eat it. Highly disappointing, especially considering the price.

Full vegan menu with take out and dine in options. I loved the variety of choices from burgers and sandwiches to salads and sundaes and they were super friendly. They take your phone number and then text you when your order is ready which is nice and convenient--mine was ready very quickly. Card only, no cash. I got the funfetti milkshake which was okay but the sprinkles kept getting stuck in my straw and then nothing would come out so I tried to drink it without a straw but it became very messy. It was good but I would probably try a different one next time. I also got the loaded buffalo Mac and cheese and OMG this is what will bring me back for sure. It was so creamy and delicious, it was hard to believe it's dairy free. I was not thrilled with the cost (27 dollars for a milk shake and loaded mac) but the prices are listed on the menu so there weren't any surprises. Also, the Mac and cheese was big enough for two meals so I guess that makes up for it. The outside patio was okay but didn't feel super clean. My recommendation would be to get take out but definitely don't skip out on trying this place, and get the loaded mac!!!

I loved the mellow '70s vibe from the decor--muted earth tones with all-white chairs and tables. The bbq chicken sandwich tasted like a delicious version of a McRib, which I mean as a huge compliment! The service was friendly and kindly tolerated my indecisiveness. I'd definitely visit again the next time I'm in the area.

While they may make food for vegan and gluten free people, and it may taste pretty good, this is actually an extremely terrible restaurant. Here's why: -They can't even be bothered to update their menu on google which has an old and incorrect one posted, so if you have found them ahead of time and come in with an idea of what you want to get you have already been set yourself up for disappointment. Very unprofessional. -Their accommodations indoors are extremely limited, they haven't even set up tables indoors for 3 people, only 2, even though they seem to have the extra room. Instead parties of 3 or more are forced to go eat in the back on a super duper filthy deck that is infested with bees that they aren't doing anything about and make it impossible to enjoy your meal. -The staff is not accommodating at all. I asked if I could bring in a bottle of water and they said no outside drinks, and they offered me their water which was dirty and had things floating in it. Even after my entire family ordered meals here and spent about $75 they didn't give us our food on plates, and only gave us one tray to share, I asked for two extra trays for the additional members of my party, and they only gave me 1, and the trays were disgustingly greasy! -There is absolutely no service here. The name of the restaurant is ironic too because the staff seem to have a bad mood, so I guess the phrase big mood doesn't mean big good mood, but big bad one. They also do not generally even offer table service, except for a few people, which is completely unfair. Some people got their food brought out to them, but we had to go and get our huge meal ourselves which as I said was all packed onto one tray. -They charge entirely too much for their food, the price does not match the quality, taste, size, service or atmosphere. I've already told you about the service and atmosphere being totally lackluster...now get this: You'll pay almost $20 for just about anything on the menu and get something that is not above par but rather below, is of a small portion which skimps on ingredients, and also comes with nothing. And if you are gluten free it will cost you an extra $3 for a gluten free bun! After paying that much for a burger, it does not come with a side salad or fries or anything like at any other restaurant. If you want fries you have to order them separately, and will have to pay more than $10 for a tiny little cup of them...and they don't even come with ketchup or anything to dip them in, unless you order them with it which of course costs more. I wanted a salad so I ordered one which cost another $15 and was too small because they had literally skimped on the lettuce and only filled up half of my bowl...which left the small amount of leaves that I did have completely swimming in their dressing, which made it hard to eat and is not how salads are supposed to be. Very disappointing. -The food in general is not good enough to justify them offering such small portions at such a high cost and having terrible service and bad accommodations. Their burgers are small and not even that special. Apart from them being vegan and being able to be made gluten free...they aren't gourmet enough to justify such a cost. They are not only small but are very basic, and are wrapped in a wrapper without a plate or anything and are also extremely messy. My sons burger was a burger with two wings on it that seemed like a very bad idea, as its a burger that can not stay together when you hold it. These burgers are priced as if this is a 5 star restaurant when really the food here is reminiscent of a cheap fast food restaurant, but you have to pay a lot for it. All in all, this restaurant isn't actually catering to those who are vegan and gluten free, so much as it seems like they are just a cash cow that is exploiting us because we have such limited options of where we can go to eat. This restaurant is however also limiting to us in what it has to offer, we just end up having to pay out the a** for it. And then they tre

Not what I expected. I’ve been to vegan restaurants that charge extreme prices but $6 for a half of corn on the cob (market vegetables) is up there! we had to ask to have the table cleaned off even though we were the only customers. Plus to top it all off there’s no service. Your order on your phone and have to pick it up like your ordering take out! The best thing was the Mojave morning drink. But it was in a four ounce cup for $6 with no refills! My first and last!!!

Vegan fast food, it's tasty and it's generally quick. They have ice cream too, not sure if it's new but I just noticed it. I've gone back multiple times, but -1 star because it's not priced like what it is: fast food. I understand the par for the course for vegan and vegetarian options, but the menu is quite simple.

Came for a weekday lunch with friends. It was quiet so the ordering process was extra quick. We used the QR code at the patio table to view the menu and order our meals. After a few minutes we each got a text that we could come in to pick up. I had the "stinger" and friends ordered Mac and cheese and a Caesar salad. We were all completely satisfied with our choices. I only knocked a star because it's a bit pricey ($18 for a "burger" with no side or drink) and the gender neutral bathroom could use a serious cleaning.

We went here after finding Fry Baby closed. We weren't looking for a place to sit and eat, but when we saw the menu, we decided to sit on the patio for lunch. We ordered from our table, which was a bit confusing, as we tried to customize our food. Staff did come out to clarify that they didn't serve unsweetened iced tea. We didn't know that we would receive a text when our food was done, so that we could go in and pick it up (sorry you had to bring it out, we were ignoring our phones to talk). I had a fried chick'n, "bacon" and ranch sandwich, which was a large portion and delicious. I was disappointed with the 1/2 or 1/4 cob of street corn (Market Vegetable), I feel that a whole ear should be offered for $6, especially when corn is in season. The drinks are small, the sweet tea too sweet. The ice cream is interestingly different, good, not the best around. We love the patio, but the cushions were a filthy mess when we were there ?. Otherwise, it's a nice spot to relax and eat. Overall, as good as the food and atmosphere are, the food really is expensive here. We didn't mind, it was a little splurge... we understand what goes into a vegan business. I know we'll be back. There is a lot of potential here, I wish you nothing but luck.

Big Mood is beyond delicious! This little gem of a restaurant is not only tasty, it has a great vibe and a beautifully, fresh design. Even if you're not vegan, this place will blow your mind. I highly recommend the "chicken, bacon, ranch" sandwich, along with the many sundae's they offer and be sure to take home a slice or two of the mud pie-YUM!
