It was a bit of a walk for us, but the service was friendly and fast. The place was clean, bright, and welcoming. Wish I could have stayed for a tasting but the cider was great! Really enjoyed the pulled pork pierogi and homemade coleslaw. My associates preferred the sauteed pierogi dishes over the fried dishes but loved the potato curls that came with the fried dishes. I hope to return!

RU’s doesn’t look like much from the outside, and if you’re not careful you may miss it altogether, but it’s a diamond in the rough! It’s very nice and modern inside, and the service is quick. These are some of the best pierogi’s I’ve ever had. They say I went, they had a special Mexican pierogi plate- shredded chicken mixed with salsa and black beans inside the pierogis, and homemade guacamole and pick de Gallo to top them off. It was phenomenal! They have such unique pierogi plates, I definitely want to go back and try more.

Ru's Jalapeno and cheese pierogies were amazing, my cousin brought them to Thanksgiving dinner. I tried the buffalo chicken ones tonight and I have to say they are Horrible, they seem to use a canned chicken and its just terrible. Really disappointed that I paid $10 for the small amount of pierogies to taste terrible especially since my first impression of them was fantastic. They need to have an all around great taste

Meh... overpriced and moderate quality. Their restaurant clearly went out of business for a reason not because the wanted to focus on distribution.

So good and I love being able to customize. It's located in an area I honestly just am not in, in general, but the food and drinks are absolutely delicious. The pierogi are on the small side, but you get a bunch in an order, so that evens out. In fact, I kind of like that they aren't huge. I wish it wasn't a special trip to come down here. I like this place!

Wow, this place was really impressive. I had had their pierogi at other restaurants before, but I not been into the restaurant. It seems like a simple concept, but it's so good. They have so many different types of pierogi and so many combinations. I like how you could see them cook it right there. The atmosphere was comfortable and casual and the staff were nice and it was clean. We went with two children and three adults. Each of us really, really enjoyed our food. The potato slices or chips or whatever they called them were fantastic! Excited for another great family-owned business in Buffalo!

Food was amazing, service could be a little better. The goat cheese pierogi was honestly life changing.

once we went to the bar for a drink while we waited for our food we ended up staying there. The bartender was super attentive, friendly, and I really liked that! He made sure to interact with the family from out of town, us, some regulars that popped in. We talked about local food places, and even learned her runs the buffalococktails Instagram page with his wife.

I enjoyed the food I bought from their food truck previously. This past Monday they announced that their last day would be Friday, giving anyone who enjoyed their food or had a gift card five evenings to go back to the restaurant. They then decided that they were closing at 3pm their last three evenings, preventing people from spending gift cards. With this behavior, I will make certain to never buy any of their products in the future.

Went here for Local Restaurant Week. This is a chance for places to show their stuff for$20.19. We both got the short rib special with banana pepper Pierogis over eggplant. It was quite good and server Connor (?) was Pleasant. The downside is we were lucky we ordered Their great fries as portions were quite small. I don't expect more meat but even a little mashed potatoes or bread would have been good I hope this place succeeds as it is quite unique But there are better deals in the area. Also disappointing was the lack of available coffee!

Wowzers! Ru's Pierogi is THE place to have a delicious dinner in Buffalo. My dining partner ordered sautéed Banana Pepper Pierogi with Braised Short Ribs, served on top of Grilled Eggplant. He also got the Hamburg Just Saying IPA. He spoke favorably of the IPA. The dinner, however, stole the show and he wolfed it down. It was delicious. I tried both the short ribs and the banana pepper pierogis and the pierogis especially were so amazing I cannot rave enough. You MUST try their banana pepper pierogis. I ordered the sautéed Potato Ricotta Pierogi with Fried Chicken, Asparagus and topped with a Mushroom Gravy. Also delicious, although I slightly favored my partner's banana pepper pierogis. I also tried the McKenzie's Black Cherry hard Cider and that was five stars. Everything was five stars. If you haven't tried Ru's yet it is a must-visit in Buffalo!

Better Pierogi's than Veselkas I'm NYC and that's saying something. They're just perfect. I only went for one round but I'm coming back before I leave town. Open a DC location stat! Please and thank you!
