Arrived for my visit on Friday night to a crowded bar. First, the decor is questionable. Trump Gold paint covers every inch of the walls and ceiling with tacky oversized drapes poorly hung covering the front wall. Leopard print carpet 'finishes' the 'look'.A fellow guest we wondered what the space looks like in the daylight! I don't.The bar is not at all aesthetically pleasing.I ordered a Claus Azul tequila neat. Not one drop over the jigger measured amount... It was actually a short pour.Regardless, after people watching, I made the mistake of ordering a second drink. The male bartender emptied the bottle with far less than a full jigger measure, causing him to search ten minutes for a non-existent replacement bottle. While he was gone, a female bartender moved the half jigger spilling much of it on the bar top.He returns and no replacement was found, so he proceeds to pour the half jigger in a glass, puts it in front of me before telling me it was a 'legal' shot and that he was charging full price before walking away. I told him I watched and it was not close to being proper drink to no response. He should have offered a different drink...A lack of or poor training presents these actions. The charge for these two short, non legal pour drinks was $77.00... which I have no issue with as it it a top tier liquor and it averages around $40. Per serving. A LEGAL serving. BUT .. pour the legal amount instead of lying and making the announcement of full price!Unprofessional and obviously inexperienced bar staff with more attention being paid to the 'model look ' they are shooting for than possessing the required hospitality and serving skills. This snobby encounter in addition to managements poor response to another guest comment tells me this poorly presented outlet won't be around long.Inexcusable examples of zero hospitality capabilities shows Saint Neri's idea of hospitality and service is surely lacking....no where close to being... Saintly.A poor take on an NYC attitude with a tacky fast food presentation.I'll skip on making a dinner reservation, instead I will take managements advice to another guest's and I will gladly take my business elsewhere where it is valued and appreciated. And that'll hurt as I am assigned the task of securing area Restaurant reservations for my companies many visiting clients excited about the 716 dining scene. We'll pass on this 'Saint'.

If one thing should alert the Buffalo area clientele about the amateurish operations of Saint Neri, it is the way the owner cannot seem to take honest criticism and the gutter level he responds to such comments. Obviously someone jumped into the industry without any hands on experience...Or any ability to properly deal with paying customers. Unfortunately for you and your partner, the bartender chose a man with 35+ years of successful restaurant experience. Perhaps a customer not aware of bad industry practices would have overlooked this outrageous episode, but I'm not that person! Not only does my disastrous experience put your horrendous behavior under a spotlight, the light will serve to show other diners how completely inept and unqualified you are... And what a despicable human being you are. The food stamps millions need to survive, you chose to use as a disgusing insult. Very telling. Let me clarify my tale of the short pours and empty bottle of Claus Azul. (Would a financially struggling person drink a Prestige Tequila?) The first was not a legal shot as he sensed the bottle was about to be empty. $35. Second, the half shot that was then spilled but still served as a legal shot was indeed charged at full price...just as the inexperienced bartender advised it would be. $35. NO beer or any other products...Negroni, Belvedere, etc. were ordered as I was alone when I visited. I met with friends later, just thankfully not at your establishment. And for sure, nothing was comped, even though the last drink should have been. I paid full price for both of these very short pours. I have both a bill and CC receipt. There were no items removed. No management got involved whatsoever... That would require an experienced bartender and a genuine, capable member of a valid management team. Neither of which is present in your establishment. Lying about a bill...on an open forum no less, when you receive a legitimate complaint? That alone says a TON about who you are and why your establishment will be shuttered in months. BTW grouch, My net worth would allow me to buy not only your dump bar but your home and 'interior design' business as well with money left to send you to Siberia where you'd never be heard from again. *But thanks for the '17th century fabric' laugh tho... Hilarious!! Hopefully this culinary stain will disappear soon as it casts an unnecessary shadow on all Buffalo Restaurants.

Loved visiting this space! Very cool vibes and chic decor with gold walls, venetian glass chandeliers, and gitchy stemware. Loved the cocktails and service. Definitely a pre-dinner or nightcap spot. Thank you to Michaela for excellent service and patience and time answering questions. Definitely try the bump, meatball sliders and arancini.

Great food and drinks! Highly recommend the burger off the "secret menu" and chicken parm. Espresso martinis were delicious! 10/10

Beautiful hidden cocktail bar with wonderful cocktails but awful snooty service. Never got a server to our table u til another patron sent us drinks. Intentionally ignored after multiple requests. Also watched them turn many patrons away at door because they did t have reservations while many tables sat empty the entire night. They will have to change their attitude if they want to succeed

Certainly the most opulent place in Buffalo. Extraordinary attention to detail. Mesmerizing interior. Attentive staff and delicious cocktails. Can’t speak to the food but even if their food tasted like cardboard this place would still be worth

Saint Neri Cocktail Bar, located at 220 Lexington Ave in Buffalo, NY, is a sophisticated cocktail bar and lounge. It offers an Italian-leaning menu complemented by Southern-style classics and refined bar bites. The bar is known for its elegant craft cocktails and glamorous European opulence, providing a world-class hospitality experience. In the heart of the city, nestled on a street that whispered tales of the past, stood a cocktail bar that seemed to defy the passage of time. Its walls, bathed in golden hues, cast a warm, inviting glow over patrons who, at a glance, appeared as if they had stepped straight out of a 1920s mobster movie. The air was filled with the soft murmur of conversations and the clinking of glasses, a melody of the night that promised secrets and stories.Ella, a young writer with a penchant for vintage charm, found herself drawn to this place, a haven that felt like a scene from one of her stories. She took a seat at the bar, her eyes dancing over the crowd, taking in the sharp suits and flapper dresses that adorned the other guests.Across the room, Tom, a history enthusiast with a mysterious air, caught a glimpse of Ella. Intrigued by her thoughtful gaze and the way the dim light played off her features, he made his way over. Their conversation began with tentative hellos, quickly blossoming into a deep, engaging dialogue that spanned everything from literature to the allure of the Roaring Twenties. As the night wore on, the bar, with its timeless ambiance and echoes of a bygone era, became the backdrop to their burgeoning connection. It was as if the spirits of the past conspired to weave their tales into the present, guiding Ella and Tom towards a future that seemed written in the stars.By the time the night drew to a close, they had made a promise to return, to this bar that had served as the catalyst for their meeting. They stepped out into the cool night air, their hands entwined, a testament to the magic that can be found in places where history and present intertwine, where every cocktail tells a story, and where every encounter has the potential to become a timeless tale.

Stopped in after seeing this pop up on a buffalo recommendation site. First and foremost, I love cocktail lounges and prefer them over anything else. Very neat "hidden" entrance and the decor inside is a nice change when you are surrounded by sports bars in Buffalo. Additionally, the staff was whipping up cocktails extremely quick to try and keep up with the crowd. However, I ordered an old fashion which was $17 which is ABSURD. Add on top of that, they serve it with a TON of regular ice cubes, and not a single rock as it should be. I'm also pretty sure it was missing the bitters. Within a minute I had just extremely watered down bourbon. I was so extremely annoyed and unimpressed with this.Additionally, if you want to survive as a cocktail lounge, you may want to turn people away at the door when you have no seating left. The goal of these lounges is to have a nice relaxing atmosphere and not have people hovering over you. It was packed in there which is good to see but it takes away from the ambiance.I'll stick to High Violet or Lucky Day for now until the prices drop a bit and they learn how to serve a proper old fashion.

Ambience was amazing but the overpowering artificial sense “essential oil” made it impossible to breathe. We would have stayed to order food that looked amazing, but unfortunately didn’t get to experience the cuisine. Highly recommend and would definitely return if they got rid of thefunking scent off!

I had a wonderful evening at Saint Neri. Be sure to make a reservation as it is a busy establishment on a Friday night! We had dinner and drinks. The space is gorgeous! I love the vibes. The only issue we had was once we were sat, we were forgotten. I think that's because our table was tucked away next to the bar. As soon as I let the hostess know we hadn't been seen, our waitress was at our table taking orders. She was fantastic at her job and attentive all night after the first hiccup. Everything we ordered was FANTASTIC! We had caviar as an appetizer, several different dinner entrees, and dessert. Delicious food and perfect portions (ask for the secret burger!). The drinks were unique and tasty. The four people at our table all ordered different things and tried each others - nothing was disappointing! WE WILL BE BACK!!

St. Neri is a lounge located in the elmwood village area in the location that was previously Vera Pizzeria. The drinks are delicious and well crafted. Their food selection consists of small plates/tastings, with some items that are quite filling. We went there for a friend's birthday and the staff could not have been nicer. We were a party of 10-12 people, and considering the space, the staff was quite accommodating and attentive. We tried a few different drinks and food, but what stood out to me was the yuzu cocktail and the chicken parm. The caviar bump was also enjoyed by the birthday boy. The decor and ambiance are well thought of and quite sultry and seductive. I wouldn't expect to get a full meal here, but it is a perfect place for a few bites and cocktails.

I went on the first Friday of Lent, so I stuck to the meat-free options. The caviar bump came in a clam shell and a sizable mini bottle of Prosecco was included, which made it worth the price. The panzerotti, oysters, and the spaghetti with clams were delicious as well. The specialty cocktails were delicious. The servers are so kind and attentive. Your drink will never run dry unless you want it to. The clientele is mostly 21-45 single professionals.
