My boyfriend and I don't drink and I had heard about this place recently. We came for dinner on a Saturday...probably a little early for most...we had the patio to ourselves lol. Very friendly staff! They make you feel right at home. As a non-drinker, I always opt for water or iced tea at restaurants, and always forget about the option of a mocktail. Here, that's all there is are non-alcoholic drinks. It was so fun to see a full drink menu and they were all mocktails! They even had a long list of NA beers. It felt nice to be in the majority for once and not feel left out. We ordered a ginger beer and a citrus splash ginger beer mocktail. Both were really strong ginger flavor and delicious! It was like when you were given a Shirley temple as a kid, and you felt fancy like a grown up! Lol.Anyway, the food was delicious. I could have done without the Mac salad on the fish fry but the ginger beer batter was yummy. Not too strong but noticeable. They had run out of chicken for the chicken and waffles but the crispy homemade chicken fingers were even better- easier to cut and no bones! They had a fun menu of Fair foods happening this week. And our waitress was working on that pretty mural!Love the concept and wish them well. We'll be back!

My go to place on a Friday night! The food is fantastic (especially the burgers) and the drinks are incredible! The employees are super nice and are genuinely interested in getting to know you while you’re there. The atmosphere is great!

Friendly place with comfortable feel and good food with some unique choices (fried chicken over waffles or peanut butter jelly wings - yummy - be sure to get them xtra crispy!) Food is fresh and homemade like their crabcakes over corn salsa , pizza logs, fresh breaded mozzarella squares, delicious spag sause. And their mocktails are fun, inventive and tasty. One of my favorites things about the place is the back patio. Inviting, intimate and artsy touch with the painted mural. Xtra fun when there's entertainment! Was there tonite for one of their generous fish fry. Thank you Speak Easy for another fine experience.

What can I say? I love Speak Easy! The customer service is great, the food is delicious, and the ambiance is perfect! My only regret is that I can't get there more often! Please go and enjoy their alcohol free mocktails! If you are a seafood lover you have to try the scallops or the crab cakes! You will NOT be disappointed!

I was really excited to try this place based on the reviews. Ordered 2 Fish Fry's. I wouldn't recommend them at all. The fish tasted spoiled, but I think it was the ginger beer batter that gave it that taste. It was a flavor that I couldn't handle and had to throw the entire thing out. I tried eating the Mac salad and fries but the flavor was on everything. I love ginger beer and ginger flavor, but I don't think it's a good combo with the fish.

Worst fish fry I've ever had. Idk if the fish was bad or rotten but the taste was very off and my buddies fish was alright but wasn't very good at all. I wish I could give them zero stars for this.
