Love this place. Brisket sandwich, sweet potato fries and fried corn. Heavenly. If you like your BBQ and haven't been here yet you must treat yourself and eat here. You won't be disappointed. I never am.

This place doesn't look like much from the outside, but the friends I was meeting for lunch recommended it. I ordered the fish fry and the fish was delicious, but I didn't care for the macaroni and cheese. My friend ordered a brisket sandwich and it looked tasty. The server was very nice and so were the other employees. I will definitely eat there when I'm in town again.

Corn bread was delicious. Beef brisket was better than most. Nice smoked flavor and tender. Pulled pork not much flavor, not smoked and very dry. I suggest with the pulled pork smother with BBQ sauce. Mac and cheese is good for carbs only. Ribs and turkey sold out by the time I showed up. My fault I was warned. I need to go back and try the ribs. Must be a reason why they sell out. Will post after I go back. It may increase the star rating. Looking for the hidden jem.

Great bbq as always. Their ribs are the best.

We went for dinner for the first time. The waitress was very helpful, pointing out things on the menu. We started with a side order of cornbread. It is piping hot with melted honey on top, slightly crunchy edges and soft in the middle. I had the heavenly hog, which is like Sheppard pie with pulled pork, baked beans, fried corn, potatoes, cornbread, smothered in cheese with banana or jalapeño peppers. It was delicious. My husband had a messy Marvin pulled pork on homemade roll with cheese and a side of smashed potatoes and gravy. He said it was excellent.

Good food, sometimes sells out of menu items. Great place for BBQ lunch. Staff is great!
My companion and I went here recently for lunch based on recommendations from a friend. Nondescript, kind of rundown exterior but emanating wonderful smells of bar-be-que. Very clean interior, including sparkling clean but simple ladies room. Restaurant had multitudes of pig figurines which the owner told us her customers had brought her. She recommended the hous specialities of the salty hog or piggy pie which were layered dishes of pulled pork, shredded cheese, sweet potato fries or salt potatoes, cole slaw, and salsa. We ordered these and tried garnishing them with a variety of bar-be-que sauces that were on the table. Large servings, we ended up taking home half our meals for the next day. YUMMY! Had sodas which came in cans with cups of ice. Rollicking music added to the experience. Will definitely return.

I wouldn't say it's great bbq but it's definitely good. Probably one of the best 2 or 3 bbq joints in the Buffalo area. The Eastern North Carolina sauce is great on the pulled pork.
