Place is closed due to fire on 25 Grant Street. I called the number today. 9/13/23 was informed they "might" be open in 2-3 months at a non disclosed location on Niagara Street in buffalo?

I absolutely love their ramen but I think they should do soft boiled eggs instead of hard boiled eggs. That is my one and only complaint. The eggs are over cooked. I do love every ramen I’ve had though. My favorite is the spicy chicken ramen!

Omg I don’t know where to start. This is, by far, the best ramen I ever had in my life (and I have eaten a lot of ramen in nyc)! I got the Tomyum so hold taken and it didn’t disappoint. It was filled with seafood and the broth was spicy and sour but very flavourful at the same time (I asked for it to be spicy). The portions are HUGE but because it was sooooooo tasty, my fatbutt ended up finishing the whole thing and now I feel light headed because I ate too much lol. This place is a gem and it’s really worth a trip!

I ordered take out. The fried rice was flavorless, and I don't think it can legally be called "fried" as it wasn't; see photo. The ramen should have a soft boiled egg, which pairs nicely with broth. A hard boiled egg does not. The chashu pork for the ramen was far too thick to enjoy, cut inconsistently, and not braised. The broth was good though. The gyoza was undercooked and the filling was akin to freezer gyoza from the store; but that could just be mine and my friends tastebuds. I do not like freezer gyoza. The ramen was packaged for takeout better than SATO does, and was much fresher here.

One of my favorite spots in Buffalo, a must try and my go to spot for ramen and soup! Their soup is sooo delicious and flavorful and portions are big. I always have leftover soup to take home for a second meal, you can cook and add in more noodles or other ingredients! The Tom yum ramen is hands down my favorite, it's spicy, sour, tangy, savory and soo flavorful - comes with plenty of seafood and veggies. The Sapporo ramen is also really good, I was honestly surprised at how good the chashu meat was - the slices are huge, thick, tender and a nice balance of fatty meat. The kimchi ramen is basically same soup as Sapporo ramen, just comes with a lot of kimchi instead - not my favorite out of the 3 but still good. Service is always great, the owners are so nice! Love this place so much and so glad it's here!

Absolutely the BEST ramen I have ever had. I got the spicy chicken ramen (extra spicy) and I cannot say enough how delicious it was. The man at the counter was very friendly and the price can't be beat. Amazing place just like everything at West Side Bazaar

Located at the West Side Bazaar, Thang's Family Ramen is a casual spot to grab a meal with no extra fuss. Order your food at the window, and pick it up when ready. For take-out, I would use their website which is easy and convenient. I finally had occasion to try the 'Seafood Ramen' that I had heard so much about. We also ordered 'Tom Yum Ramen' and 'Kimuchi Ramen'. All the soups looked beautiful. The portions were truly generous, with lots of seafood, pork chashu and satisfying noodles. The crab sticks and bean sprouts were missing from mine. They must have been out temporarily. I don't have ramen often. My knowledge of perfect ramen soup is very little. However, what I experienced made me feel that I've lost too much time not eating from chef Thang's kitchen. In general our food was very good. Only the 'Kimuchi Ramen' was served with kimchi straight from the refrigerator. It cooled down the whole meal making the soup lukewarm at the best, bummer. Originally from Burma, Chef Thang Kap prepares many Japanese and Malaysian-influenced dishes. I already know what I would like to try from the menu next time, and honestly I can't wait to come back.

My son & I ordered our dinner from here since we were at the West Side Bazaar anyways for the Taste the World , YELP Event. The employees were nice, worked fast & the food was delicious. I got the Spicy Chicken Ramen & it was perfection !! No complaints whatsoever. The price was great $11.99 and I got a lot of everything . It was loaded. My son enjoyed everything he ordered as well & it looked amazing.
