This place is amazing! The soup is to die for and all the food is great! The chef is a miracle maker and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. This is a must stop place for lunch and drinks. Did I mention the soup....OMG! Daily specials too!

Food was great. We ended up bring 1 app and 1/2 an entreé back to our hotel and that became dinner. Would definatly recommend looking over their specials.Servace was attentive and I enjoyed talking with our waitress!The washrooms are a bit small and if you are in a wheel chair they are basicly unusable unless you have a decent amount of mobility.

The Grotto is serving truly awful food. I had a turkey sandwich on a baguette. The turkey was raw, The brie cheese was spoiled. Baguette was hard. I couldn't have enjoyed myself less and I will never return. And that's a shame because it's got a great location.

Great lunch! I ordered the meatball parm sandwich. I really appreciated that the meatballs and sauce were not overdone with seasoning. The seasoning complemented rather than dominated. The sandwich comes with a pickle spear and a choice of potato salad or macaroni salad. I chose the latter. The mac salad was very tasty. My biggest pleasure was the dill pickle. It was terrific - crunchy and not overwhelmed by the spices or vinegar. It was more akin to the store-bought Clausen brand pickle. Well done!

it's pretty rare that i find a well seasoned meal in buffalo but this place!!!! the interior is pretty normal, slightly dim, large seating area with a decent amount of people for a weekday lunch. but WOW i was pleasantly surprised by how the mozzarella sticks and my parm pasta was seasoned. there was flavor!!!! enough flavor!!!! you can SEE the flavor in the moz sticks. also the portions were HUGE, my friend and I both ate our pasta for our following two meals. service was also friendly, a bit leisurely (slow) but nothing to complain about.

Everything on the menu is absolutely amazing!!! They even offer a special menu with about 6 items on it, soups of the day, and amazing desserts!!! I've eaten there many of times and still am amazed by the quality of the food and service!!! I definitely recommend this hidden gem. The food is worth every penny!!! And the head chef is so sweet and greets you within 10 minutes of being inside. He truly makes you feel like you are a part of the family. The personal pizza is definitely a personal fav of mine! And those sweet potato fries are heavenly!!

Outstanding lunch at The Grotto! From the moment we walked in and met our server Rachel, we had phenomenal service. Rachel suggested regional drinks (Loganberry! So so good!) and the popular dishes in the menu. She even went above and beyond to help us since we were traveling through. The food itself was excellent! Some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had! The Spaghetti Parmesan style with meatballs was delicious as well as the cannolis and Tiramisu. The owner/chef provided great service as well, talking with us and checking on us several times. Delicious lunch with truly the best service I’ve ever had at a restaurant! Thank you!

Had wings and a fish fry! Both were excellent. The owner and chef both went out of their way to greet us. Very friendly, attentive, relaxed, clean environment ! All the staff worked as a team and was great to watch them all helping each other out!I would highly recommend for lunch or dinner. 5 plus stars !

I attended a baby shower Saturday June 24th at the Grotto Restaurant it was the perfect place to host the party. The food was absolutely delicious. The staff was amazing and made sure everything was perfect. We had Richie who entertained us and he made everyone laugh and we All had a good time. Anyone looking to have a party, the Grotto is the place to go. Perfect place, great food, decorated beautiful and a lot of fun. Thank you Richie and the staff for such a wonderful time. Aunt Angela.
