This place needs to post on their website when their kitchen is closed. They really just try to usher you to the bar as soon as you walk in the door. Also, give Zoë Flynn and April Jackson their money back because you tried to scam them!

Terrible customer service! Nola incorrectly charged my friend for the full bill even though half was paid in cash! After she spoke with them and they said they would call her back we haven't heard from them. Every time we call no one picks up and the mailbox is full. The waiter either stole the money or it was a harmless mistake but since we can't get in contact with them I feel like it was a huge scam.

Great staff. Pretty good pub food. Karaoke 3 times a week is awesome. They need to fix their stools which are all on the verge of breaking.

This is the only restaurant I've ever walked out of without eating. The table we sat at was dirty. The unplugged tv next to the table had mysterious dried liquid on the screen. There were 5 people in my party- 4 of us had one menu and the 5th had a totally different menu. 4 of us ordered the same drink but two of them were a different color than the others. In the womens bathroom the toilet in the small stall isn't connected to the floor and the handicap stall has a hole in the sheetrock from the lock being slammed into it. One of my friends ordered the seafood bisque, and she was served this mysterious coagulated but also separated liquid that is easily the most bizarre thing I've ever seen. After seeing what the "bisque" looked like we were too scared to eat, so we paid for our drinks and left. Our server was nice though. Overall a wild experience.

Business closed for illegal practices. Owner is a known racist - anti-lbgt. Food tasted like it's old and reheated. Hurrendous service. Go to Mothers across the street and be treated with white gloves, the best bartenders in the city and food to die for.

Definitely a place I will return to! Couldn't take a photo of my dinner Fried green tomatoes and fried pickles for the appetizer.

Our group went for a Sunday brunch, and I was quite impressed with the menu. For drinks, about half of us started with Cajun Bloody Mary's, and the other half sampled the bottomless mimosas. The bloodys were generously spiced and very tasty. They were sparsely garnished, which I did not mind - but if you're used to getting an appetizer in your bloody, you may be disappointed. There are three different mimosas - traditional, poinsettia, and hurricane. The hurricane was the favorite of the table, but they were all solid. We also shared a fried shrimp and crab cake appetizer, which was big enough for 3-4 to share. The crab cakes were excellent, flaky and flavorful. For the main dishes, the crab cake eggs Benedict was the best eggs Benedict in Buffalo. Eggs poached perfectly, sitting on top of the crab cakes with a well made hollandaise sauce. The Witch's Hash is another must have - especially if (like me) you're not a big fan of eggs. Spicy home fries and andouille sausage provide a nice flavorful kick, and the shrimp were cooked perfectly. Our table also tried the avocado toast with egg (perfectly fine, but not as memorable as the Benedict or the hash), the chicken and waffles (which were tasty but MASSIVE - two people could split it comfortably), and the Big Easy burger (half-pound burger topped with andouille sausage, crab cake, and a fried egg). The burger was delicious, and could be really spectacular from a visual perspective. They have really just started up doing brunch at NOLA, so be patient from a service point of view - we certainly did have some bumps during our service. That said, our issues were dealt with promptly to everyone's satisfaction, and the head chef (maybe owner? Not sure on that) got himself personally involved in fixing the issues. The food is definitely good enough to go into my rotation of Sunday brunch places, and once they get all the kinks worked out I think this place will be stellar.

Unfortunately the mark was missed during my visit. I initially ordered the shrimp gumbo and it was terrible. I could taste the freezer burn on the shrimp, the rice was hard as if it had been put in the microwave and the gumbo was completely flavorless. Just a terrible representation of gumbo! I ordered nachos after sending the gumbo back because I figured well, nachos are pretty easy! I got the beef nachos and although they were delicious, I found hairs in it. The first hair I said maybe it's mine (just trying to not overreact)... Well, that theory was scrapped after seeing two more (looked like eyelash hairs) at the same time in the nacho cheese..... YEAAA, hard pass here...

This place is great for karaoke! If you want to have the more intimate vibe show up early (around 9), play a game of darts, and hang out for a bit. If you want to show off or have a whole crowd sing with you come after 10 and do it big. The place is a bit small and the bathrooms need a lot of love but the staff is really nice. Make sure you have a QR-code reader on your phone so you can scan the code at the DJ Bench and see which songs are available. Great vibe!

We had reservations for 6pm for 4 people to be seated on patio and said we had tickets for Sheas. When we arrived we were told we couldn't reserve patio seating. They did seat us and we ordered our food by 6:15. After the waiter delivered our water we didn't see him again. I got my own water refill from the bar. At 7pm we still hadn't got our meals even though a group came in after us and got drinks, appetizers and dinner. We left at 7:05. To be fair there was only 1 waiter.

Attended last night (Tuesday 4/12) for karaoke. The re-brand is coming together and the staff is great, from beind the bar, to behind the windows at ZLKs... But the food/drink quality went downhill, big time, which is kind of disappointing as a regular.Proportions were small for the prices, and everything was over seasoned, overcooked, and stale. The fries were soggy, tasted like old oil, and so heavily seasoned they were hard to eat. The Fried pickles lost the dill flavor and the breading was hard as a rock. Both items were HEAVILY salted in addition to being drowned in Cajun seasoning... The ranch had an odd sweetness to it. We love flavor, but less is more here.As for the liquor, I've NEVER had a bad drink here, but last night's mixed drinks tasted like they were made with NY States Hand Sanitizer. I feel bad complaining because on one hand - they did the job. On the other... they weren't very well mixed, and pretty hard to choke down.

Being a NOLA and Buffalo lover, I was excited to try out this new restaurant. I appreciated The Quarter before, but this new location is perfect for dinner before a show at Shea's. Half priced appetizers between 5-7 on weeknights. The French 75 was great, but don't expect a NOLA-level hurricane (still good.) The fried green tomatoes were perfection, and the crab cakes were delicious. The seafood gumbo is perfect to split to try out new things. Salad is delicious with the raspberry vinaigrette and the French onion soup was pretty yummy. The ambiance is what you would expect in a classic mid bar-style, with a great zydeco and jazz playlist. I am wishing this restaurant all the best and will be recommending to Buffalo visitors, as well as returning in the future! (& just saying, this is better than any NOLA fusion restaurant I've visited at home in NYC)

Another awesome addition to the Buffalo restaurant scene. The owner, Brandon, and his staff have done an excellent job in turning the old Bambino Restaurant into a lively new establishment. During my dinner, made reservations and was promptly seated upon arrival. The food was exquisite and the service was stellar. Couldn't ask for a better first experience at Nola! Worth a try if you have yet to stop by.
