Awesome takes on southern classics. Huge portions that always leave you with leftovers. Must try their pimento cheese appetizer with biscuits for the table! Great drinks as well.Overall great atmosphere for a good, hearty meal with family and friends. Enjoyed both brunch (knock out Bloody Mary’s) and dinner there and both times left with smiles on our party’s faces. Thanks for always being a solid go-to option in downtown, Toutant!Vegetarian options: Brussels sprouts are a must! And they always have a vegetable dish on their specials menu. This time around was a beet salad that we will have to try next time we’re in!

Met my son here for brunch and the atmosphere was nice with the loft-like ambiance. Our waitress Jill was attentive and sweet. The food was great. I’ll definitely dine here

They do a great job capturing the essence of New Orleans. The jambalaya is good, the gumbo is better.

The venue is amazing. Love the vibe. The staff and service was impeccable; the food was great! We had the mashed potatoes, yams, cornbread and jambalaya with chicken. I was so excited for the food I didn't take pictures of them, but I did snap a shot of the Angels Envy old fashioned which was good. I definitely want to come back here again.Dietary restrictions: Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about gluten-free options.

Easily the best ribeye steak I've ever had. Perfect medium rare in that delicious bourbon butter sauce with a solid but not overpowering char. Pricey, but easily worth it. Whiskey selection is decent, beer selection is a little narrow. I can't wait to come back, though I'm not sure I can bring myself to try anything else on the menu while that ribeye is an option.

Date night! I loved every minute of it!! It's soooo cool, super industrial inside and intimate at the same time. The food was so good! The biscuits seriously forget about it ahahha it was sooooooo good. I was skeptical at first so I ordered one and then I was blown away. Had to order the full order! The bbq was very very good. But seriously I can't believe I'm saying this but probably the best steak ive ever had that has been prepared on a grill. Perfectly cooked medium rare with just the right amount of char in every bite but sooooooo tender. My bf used a butter knife to cut it and it sliced like butter. I've had my fair share of steaks from pretty well established other steak houses and this is the best on the grill. The dessert, ooeey gooey cake was soooo bomb. Service was incredible! She was sooo nice. I forgot her name. I will def come back! A+ for date night A+ for food A+ for service

Two gals grabbing dinner, so satisfied after splitting the Nashville hot chicken sandwich, sweet potato skillet, and ooey gooey cake! Perfect dinner before a concert at Kleinhans

This place is the most underwhelming "fancy" dinner places I have ever been to. I tried the Nashville Chicken Sandwich as it was the special that night and it had no flavor, it was just pure grease. I barely touched it after a few bites as it was making me sick. The only shinning star was the corn bread which is sad for how expensive everything was. We didn't order any alcoholic drinks and it was over $100 for 2 people with no dessert too.

I reckon any food from the menu will be top notch, but the biscuits and fried chicken are out of this world.
