Its a traditional coffee shop that stays open till late night, which is rare in buffalo! They have the best cinnamon rolls and great scones.

Such a Buffalo staple- all their dishes are solid, and none will leave you disappointed. Great wine selection and attentive, friendly service (Terry is the best!). Homemade pasta is to die for (love the pappardelle piemonte and rigatoni genovese); so are the artichokes. Always a great experience all

Food was ok and delicious. Service was ok and friendly. The main entry and appetizer food list was just on one page little list, which was strange . There weren’t many items to choose from . Why did they seat us in the front room , where the bar is where it was very loud and uncomfortable ? It was too busy with people trafficking in and out , walking back and forth right behind me, or waiting in groups right next to us, to be seated in the other room next door which seemed a lot more spacious and quieter. After a while it looked odd and I got a strange impression of the entire ambiance. We were the only ones seated there the entire time . All other guests who came in were let into the other more elegant hall. We were the only ones who were seated in the crowded narrow room , with people sitting and talking loudly at the bar right behind us. All the other tables next to us, left and right of our table have been empty the entire 2 hours we were there. Unfortunately because of that we ended up with the bitter after taste that we were simply just singled out.

A very disappointing meal that most definitely would not have been worth it had it not been for the gift card we had. We started with two cocktails (cupid shuffles $13/per drink) that kinda had a very stomach bile-vomitty taste. Next, we ordered the fried calamari appetizer ($16). This was undeniably the highlight of the meal. The texture was perfect and the honey sauce drizzled on top was to die for! I ordered the penne aroma ($26) and Bruce ordered the ribeye ($48). The penne was pretty good, the sauce and pork were sweet and the mushrooms were amazing. Only complaint was the ratio of pasta; it felt seriously drowned by the sausage and mushrooms. The ribeye was a bit underdone even for medium-rare. The sauce on top was also extremely overwhelming and took away from the meat. Service was also not very attentive. Appetizer plate wasn’t taken away and waters were left unfilled. All in all, probably would not come back.

Stairs to get in, accessible once inside. Maybe there's a ramp somewhere? Bathroom accessible. Not the best for sign language or speech reading due to low light and lots of background noise. The food, drinks, atmosphere, and service were delicious. We split four appetizers between two of us and three would have been plenty. Absolutely decadent.I highly recommend the artichokes!

My wife and I went her last week for our Anniversary and really enjoyed the experience. The gentleman waiter and the whole staff were very friendly and attentive. We ordered two appetizers, two entrees (pasta dishes), cocktails, and dessert and everything was delicious. The house made pasta was top notch and the cocktails were perfectly mixed. Even the music was on point which some nicer restaurants can surprisingly get wrong. I heard The Smile, Brittany Howard, & Khruangbin just to name a few. Thanks for a great night out! We will be back.
