I’ve been going daily for about 6 weeks now, the last 2 weeks I only went 2-3 times because the smoothie wasn’t prepared correctly making it not a “sunshine” so anyway, I kept going cause I had faith they’ll make it better. Today is day 5 this week ? and EVERYDAY this week my smoothie was perfect! Thank you whoever making my smoothie ! You are appreciated.

I've been a loyal customer since this location opened. The employees behind the counter are lovely and very nice. HOWEVER, I was just recently informed by another location of a "happy hour" between 7am and 9am. I consistently use the app on my way to work. NEVER ONCE have I've been informed of this discount. And do not see it advertised on my app. I almost feel robbed in the cost of these! I called my frequented location and although the girl was nice ("they have no control over app orders")it does not change the fact that for the last year I've order once to twice a week with no knowledge, that if I call to order it's a fraction of the cost. VERY DISSAPOINTING. Reconsidering my morning routine.

After my 4th visit in 2 weeks I thought it was time to write a review. Tropical smoothie cafe is a franchise, so I wasn't sure I would he addicted as I am, since I try to eat local. Offering a variety of smoothies and cafe items, Tropical smoothie cafe gives you a taste of the tropics in Buffalo,NY. There is a drink to please even the most discerning palettes, with a variety of options and customizations. All of their smoothies ate made from fresh ingredients and do not include any artificial fillers or sweeteners. You can even add protein or supplements to make your smoothie a balanced meal. Their breakfast is a must-have. Last week, I ordered the breakfast wrap, thinking I was going to get a tiny wrap for a snack. This wrap was massive in size, and the Naan bread it came on was extremely flavorful, big enough for 2 people to share at a great price I'm slowly working my way through the menu and have become a regular. Highly recommend the Blimey Limey. This sweet and tangy drink is full of fruit and citrus. The unique flavor is not to be missed. Pro tip: Order an edible straw with your drink and order ahead on the app

I don't understand what happened this morning. I've ordered from this Tropical Smoothie Cafe several times in the last month and typically don't have any problems, however today that changed drastically.The smoothie I received was missing almost 4 oz and did not have the banana I paid an extra charge for. When I'm paying over $10+ just for a smoothie I expect to get exactly what I paid for. The lack of banana made a very noticeable difference from how I usually receive this order, which made for a disappointing experience.The peanut butter crunch flatbread (pictured) had almost no visible peanut butter on it, and tiny shrunken bits of banana as if all I got were the last end of an already used one. Typically this item is filled up with peanut butter and bananas, but today it was almost all granola and was near inedible. Considering this item was almost 8 by itself this is absolutely ridiculous.I don't know if the Sunday crew are a bunch of kids who just don't care or what, but it's made me reconsider ordering from here again (at the very least, NEVER on a Sunday). I also do not recommend anyone else visit this location on a weekend as you're likely to end up with garbage. I've worked in food service several times at one point or another earlier in my life, so I know it's not the most fun job, but come on... If you hate making smoothies so much just don't work for a smoothie restaurant. Don't make my experience worse just because you're miserable working a Sunday morning shift.

My first time visiting this chain. They offer tons of smoothies and wraps. Easy to read menu on the wall. But holy cow is it loud inside. You have to really speak loudly for the employees to hear you. It can't be healthy to work in that decibel noise all day. The smoothie I had was very good. The employee was able to quickly let me know the best sellers too. 3 stars for this large chain. I default chains to 3 stars as they must be A-OK to expand as they have.

This place is gross! The food is always cold and never right. They’ve messed up my order twice out of the three times I went now. Last time I came, I got very sick from eating the food and my doctor said it was likely a stomach bug from food I ate!! As someone who barely eats out, I was looking forward to a healthier option, but this place isn’t it!!! I feel bad for those poor employees as the place is dirty and the manager is extremely rude! you’d be lucky to get fired from this place lol!

If I could rate this zero stars I would. Let me preface this with I love Tropical Smoothie Cafe. I love the food, and the smoothies. I have gone to other locations and never have had an issue. At this point, I am wondering how this location has been so bad even though they only recently opened. Like is the owner terrible to their employees for the employees to get such terrible service? Poor training? Still figuring out kinks? I am so disappointed. And this isn’t based off of one or two visits. This is based off of several in person and DoorDash orders. I have never gotten an accurate order from this location. This includes the one time that I left the physical location, only to eat my food at home and discover an entire food label INSIDE OF my wrap. Another time where I left the physical location to find rice in the wrap I ordered (rice was not requested nor was it a standard ingredient in the wrap I ordered). Not to mention: (1) one time I ordered on DoorDash and the driver only delivered my smoothie, then when I went to reorder the location gave me the wrap I ordered that had been sitting there for hours rather than making a new one, (2) another DoorDash order where I was given an entirely different order with someone else’s name on it, (3) today where I gave y’all one last try and everything was labeled with my name but the food was incorrect. I truly hate giving bad reviews. I hate complaining about people who are likely only getting paid minimum wage. I worked in food service and in retail for a very long time and it sucks when customers are jerks. But I’ve just given this location so many chances. I was excited that this spot opened and it was much close to my house than other locations. But this is just unacceptable.

I'm so discouraged by this location. I love tropical smoothie, I spend so much money here that I have enough points on my app to get free smoothies (which at a dollar a point, is a lot of dollars lol). I came to this location to pick up a doordash order on Aug 23 in the early afternoon, but I also wanted to place an order for myself as they're usually very fast and I can get away with it. However the staff treated me like I didn't exist. Literally walked past me several times (two different girls), and at one point I was standing directly in front of the register and the one girl decided to help the people who were standing behind me. It was awful, and I felt humiliated. I'm always very nice, I even said hello, how's it going? To the one girl. Nothing. As a line started to form behind me, I just decided to step aside and wait for my doordash order, and the one girl went out of her way to walk around me and place the order directly behind me, not a word. It was absolutely humiliating. I know I don't "look" like the typical tropical smoothie customer, but for them to completely ignore my existence, it was an awful feeling. I do doordash and recently I've been purchasing one, sometimes two smoothies here a day, while dashing, for myself. Not anymore. They won't be getting another cent from me, and I will make sure that my friends and family that have also been coming here will stop as well. Discrimination at its finest. Thanks for making me feel like a subpar human, tropical smoothie employees.
Every time I order for delivery through Uber Eats they forget the cookies and often times a straw. How can I drink a giant smoothie with no straw? If there are no cookies available, there is an option within the app to say they are not available so that I do not get charged. Even when I leave a note that says “please do not forget cookies” they still do not include them in my bag. Annoying!!!

I thought I’d give this place a try after getting coupons in the mail. This place is the McDonald’s of smoothies, no real fruit and not good for you. I got the peanut butter cup smoothie and i asked if it was made with almond milk because I wanted to make sure it wasn’t made with normal milk. The worker laughed and said he was so embarrassed but it’s made with water. What???? Who makes a chocolate flavored smoothie with water. Save your money and go to squeeze on main st they use all real and fresh ingredients. My smoothie tastes like a gross chocolate slushee. Seriously save your money

this was by far the worst smoothie place i’ve ever been to i’m a type 1 diabetic and specifically requested splenda and i saw them put regular sugar in it and had to correct them. if i hadn’t been paying attention i could’ve had a serious medical issue. i’m never coming back here and i’d advise you find another place to get a smoothie from especially if you have dietary issues/health restrictions.
