A friend and I came here lunch one weekend. He'd been there a couple of times and this was my first time so it was interesting. It is small to say the least but they have a few tables for dining inside. We luckily got a table and we figured out what we wanted for lunch. They do have a good selection for their menu so variety is great. My friend ordered stir fried noodles and a scallion pancake (he ordered some lo mein to go) and I got the spring rolls and shrimp lo mein. The portions were large for the price and the food it was delicious. I will have to come back to order takeout from them in the future just to see what they offer.

The potato chicken uses so many chili peppers. It is spicy and has no taste at all. The waiter's attitude was very unfriendly because it was too spicy for the tongue. I asked for ice cubes. The waiter said there was no one and he would never come back!

Nice little spot! If you dine in, there is water or tea that you can help yourself in. I recommend the soup and noodles.

I ordered "Fried Tofu with Spicy Sauce." The sauce was not spicy at all, which was surprising since this place bills itself as Sichuan style, which is supposed to spicy. I don't need my food to be ghost pepper hot or anything, but I was not expecting such blandness. It tasted kind of like a brown sauce, to be honest, and seemed like what you'd get at any random Chinese takeout place. I was expecting something more tasty, since when I walked in I saw the place was full of Asians. That's typically a sign the food is going to be good. Also, and I don't know if this is the way they cook tofu where they're from, but the tofu was the shape and size of pita chips, about 1/8" thick, and it was cooked so well done it was tough and leathery and had no flavor, really. It was interesting, but I prefer my tofu to be somewhere in between "just out of the package" and "tough and leathery".The brocolli was good, though. And the rice too.If I come here again, maybe I'll order online and get the shrimp lo mein.

Really good food with decent prices. I haven't tried too much here, but the chicken in garlic sauce, hot and sour soup, and egg drop with seaweed soup are fantastic. Small dining room, but the food is definitely tasty and worth many return trips! Simple menu but flavorful and a nice variety.

I come here weekly. Easily the best and most authentic Chinese available in the area, and definitely the only place I've found for northern Chinese dishes. Not only is the food amazing, but it's always lively and comfortable, with lots of customers enjoying their meals and chatting. The woman who serves and runs the counter is SO nice and helpful, always good service here. She goes out of her way to make sure everyone is seated comfortably and has enough room. She has always insisted that I get a whole table, even when they are very busy and I'm eating by myself, rather than stick me at the counter to eat. I have never felt rushed to finish my meal. The prices are also extremely reasonable.Everything is so great but highly recommend the 大盘鸡 (spicy stewed chicken with potatoes) , 鹏子干拌面 dry noodle with minced pork , and the pork Chinese burger. The soups are very good.Water is provided cold or hot as well as tea bags. Other drinks are also available for extra charge. They are cash only, so bring some!

We had the Chinese pork burger, cumin lamb, pork dumplings, and spicy chicken with potatoes. The spicy chicken with potatoes is huge. You definitely could share between 2 or 3 people. The pork burger and cumin lamb are very good. I would recommend ordering them.Vegetarian options: Most items have tofu as an option

Great Chinese in the Niagara Falls Blvd area of Amherst. Now our first choice. We did takeout but there are 6-7 tables and they were full. We did various items including scallion pancakes, lo mein fried tofu and pork fried rice. All excellent. We will return soon
