Subs are so insanely good, I’ve had cold cut subs and warm chicken cutlet and both are insanely good! I’m also addicted to their hot honey macaroni salad, highly

You guys kill it. From the atmosphere, to the sandwich shop music, to the conversation, and most of all, to the perfection in sandwiches. Came in to grab one to bring to the game, had a hard time deciding which to get, so got ourselves a get-home sandwich.Despite living in Lockport, I will have zero complaints about driving down here to pick up a sandwich. They're that good. Daresay, best of Buffalo.

Fresh Quality Ingredients!I have had the pleasure of eating here a few times now. I love the Luther Hero! I always say I’m going to try something else/new but I always resort back to the Luther! The chicken cutlet is always perfect! The pomodoro sauce is just right and the fresh mozzarella hits right every time! The bread is usually toasted to perfection. When a hero with sauce on it is still good hours later it says a lot!I don’t have the best pictures but you MUST TRY Zio’s if you have not already. All their ingredients are fresh and delicious. You can tell their food is made with care. Cant wait to return!

This Rocco sub? It's like Tony Soprano took a break from mobbing to personally whip it up. Lightly fried eggplant, mozzarella arugula roasted peppers and some balsamic vinegar and i used to be a jerkoff by not messing with eggplant or peppers but forget about it this sub changed the game and then I was feeling a little cheeky and slapped some meatballs on there cause why not and don't get me started on the bread it was perfect the customer service excellent and anyone who disagrees and thinks the food is nasty sleeps with the fishes

"Zio's Deli on Elmwood: A Sandwich Lover's Haven with a Bread Twist"Zio's Deli, a cozy spot nestled on Elmwood Avenue, is more than just a sandwich shop; it's an experience for the senses. With a varied menu, friendly atmosphere, and a story of evolving bread choices, Zio's stands out in the local culinary scene.Ambiance and Service: Zio's greets you with a warm, inviting ambiance. The deli has a casual, yet lively atmosphere, making it an ideal place for a quick lunch or a leisurely afternoon bite. The staff at Zio's are notably friendly and passionate about their craft, adding to the overall welcoming experience.Bread Journey: Initially, Zio's used baguettes for their sandwiches. These baguettes, while fresh, were unfortunately quite dry, affecting the overall enjoyment of their otherwise delicious sandwiches. Recognizing this, Zio's switched to a softer bread from a new supplier, which was an improvement, though there have been occasional issues with freshness.Menu Highlights: Zio's menu is a testament to their commitment to quality and variety. Alongside classic sandwiches, they offer a range of creative options. They have a delightful selection of meats, including traditional choices like turkey and ham, and more gourmet options like prosciutto and capicola. The cheese selections are equally impressive, featuring classics like Swiss and cheddar, alongside artisan options like gouda and brie. Vegetarian options are also plentiful, with fresh, locally-sourced vegetables playing a starring role.Specialties: Their panini selection deserves a special mention. When pressed, the sandwiches gain a crispy texture and a harmonious blend of flavors, making them a must-try.Beverages and Sides: Zio's also offers a variety of sides, including homemade chips and fresh salads. Their beverage selection includes artisanal sodas, local craft beers, and a range of coffees and teas.Hours and Accessibility: Zio's is open from 10 AM to 7 PM on weekdays, and 11 AM to 5 PM on weekends, catering to both the lunch crowd and early dinner-goers. The deli is easily accessible, located in a bustling area with ample parking.Final Thoughts: While Zio's Deli has had its ups and downs with bread selection, the quality of their ingredients, the variety in their menu, and their commitment to customer satisfaction make it a standout establishment. The staff's enthusiasm and the deli's welcoming vibe make each visit a pleasure. I remain optimistic that Zio's will continue to refine their bread choices. Until then, their warm, pressed sandwiches are a perfect way to enjoy the full range of flavors Zio's has to offer.

The Kev sub blew my balls off. FRESH toasted roll, perfectly shaved turkey and ham with THICK slices of cheese. And the subtle avocado spread + aioli set it off.Tomato basil soup was shockingly good too.Guys behind the counter were very kind.I simply cannot wait to come back for a hot sub.

Beyond the basic sub ingredients available at any pizza joint. They have arugula, balsamic, eggplant and lots of good sauces! Clean and friendly service.

Ordered delivery from here. I got the Rocco and it was delicious and fresh. The roll was crispy. 100% can't wait to return and try more amazing subs!

This place started out great we would eat there daily. Idk if management changed or what happened but. Orders have been getting messed up. The rolls change non stop. When you call about a wrong order they are nice and all but the solution is to just go in and order at the counter. I’ve tried so many times and it is just too inconsistent now. This order was a the new cheeseburger sub. It was not only wrong they wrote how it was supposed to be made on the wrapper but it wasn’t even close. I hope someone in ownership see this and starts to watch for the issues
