“I have been going to J & T's Cafe for many years. The food and service is always consistently good. What really takes it over the top are the freshly homade soups, which there is 6 or more varieties. Everything is prepared fresh everyday, and the best home cooked food around. The clientele that frequent this establishment are also very pleasant, which also is an indication of their satisfaction with this establishment. For those few disgruntled customers, take your frustration out on your wives or significant other. John and the crew at J & T's are aces.“

“We were driving in an awful storm and decided to stop for some breakfast/brunch. So happy we did. The service and food were very delicious. Portions were great and it just really hit the spot.We had a scrambled something which was very delicious and a more traditional breakfast.I recommend the marble rye as a toast option!The French toast was the only thing that maybe could have used some love, but I’m biased- i love challah French toast - So i won’t take away any stars. “Such a great coffee shop! Got a double shot latte and a "jalapeno popper" bagel (Plain bagel with a jalapeno cream cheese spread).The coffee was amazing and so was the bagel! Highly recommended. Also, the aesthetic of that shop is very trendy and modern. When we went the place was hoppin'. Very friendly staff. They have a large variety of home made pastries and other snacks.Additional Tip: they have limited parking right next to the shop (3 parallel parking spot with a 15 minute line) but then tons of parking in the back! “My wife and I, visiting from NYC, stopped here for breakfast before Mass - it was exactly the homey, hearty, friendly environment we didn't even know we needed. The food was good, but the company was great - we had a wonderful chat with the owner, who was mindful of our schedule and made sure we were well taken care of. We also found out their business supports cancer research, hence the name. We split a massive cinnamon roll, served right in front of us from the pan they had just been baked in. Our food was fresh and delicious, the service was speedy and attentive, and the overall friendly atmosphere was a joy to dine in. This is a wonderful local business that I and my wife hope to find our way into many more times!Kid-friendliness: Girl Scouts were selling cookies outside! My stepdaughter wasn't with us but she would have fit right in. Great social place for all ages, like a town saloon - it was bustling even at 9am on a Sunday“

“Absolutely love this place! Full disclosure: it gets busy, it can get full fast and this location doesn't have a great waiting area. That said I feel like parking can be easier than the Schenectady location and if you have to wait there are cute shops that can occupy your time. The food and staff are wonderful and anything you get to drink will be amazing. It's fun to do the full afternoon tea service, with a mimosa flight and overall it's a delightful experience.“

“A friend and I visited today. I had heard some truly outstanding comments from people about Mom & Pop's Cafe so I thought I'd see for myself. We had lunch, but that breakfast menu was tempting! Those glowing reviews were legit! Food, outstanding!!!! The menu had so many great choices, it was very tough to decide on just one! I had the roastbeef and Gouda panini. It was incredible!!! The servings are generous ( and yes, I am guilty of checking out every plate that went past our table) the prices are more than reasonable, the food is delicious and the staff treats you like family. Welcoming and friendly. If you haven't been yet, you really should give it a try, you won't be disappointed!“

On top of that your level of patriotism will rise because of all the honors and memorials for our veterans. “First timer visit on a family members recommendation. Four star food and service so that is impressive. Five stars for the gal who greeted and seated our seven member party. She was super nice beyond what you can reasonablly expect these days. The french toast was good. The italian toast, bacon and egss were also solid. The standout was the potatos served with the eggs. Cooked to perfection and tasty to boot. Everyone enjoyed the food. The coffee was just okay but it was hot. My only objection was that the place had a smell to it that indicated it might not be regularly cleaned. My wife noticed it as well. Still, in an era where a good breakfast place is increasingly hard to find we overlooked this and the greeter and the food made up for it. Check it out for yourself.“
