They make the best (almond milk) Chai latte I've had in a loooooong time. I'll be going back very soon! Plenty of seating and some parking. The atmosphere is meh. But the Barista was great.

Went if for a coffee at 2pm and the barista told me they stop making coffee at 1pm... so no coffee for me. Why stay open then?

We went in for coffee and bagels and never never made it out with bagels. The guy talks so much he forgot to turn the toaster on. Very kind but not great service if you’re in a pinch.

Met a co-worker here for a collaborative work morning. We enjoyed coffee, biscotti and Jon (super kind, welcoming + funny) brought us cookies to sample. Excellent atmosphere + workspace!

I have been a regular at Freedom of Espresso since I moved to Syracuse. I have been a big supporter of small businesses and have constantly encouraged my friends too to buy from FOE compared to bigger corporate coffee joints. I had a very bad experience today and I don't think I'll ever visit this particular branch or any branch of FOE going forward. I walked in at the Camillus branch at 9:05 AM and given that both baristas were busy cleaning and arranging, I wasn't sure if they were open so I very politely asked if they were open. To which one of the older barista replied VERY RUDLEY after a minute pause "Why would you think we weren't open? The door is open, the lights are on, we are here? Why would you think that?" I started explaining to her how I thought that since they were still cleaning and arranging if I was too early. Her "Karen like sarcastic" expression made me realize mid way that she didn't deserve any explanation and I didn't want to buy coffee from a place which has employee so rude to its customer. As I said, neither I nor any of my friends will ever give any business to FOE. We will visit the bigger joints as no matter what their employees are at-least polite. My message to the old lady is If you want to bring your baggage to work, don't come to work. Especially if you are selling coffee, a good cup of coffee is what most of us want to start our day with, if you are going to pass along your misery to your customers, find a new job. Thanks.

Super nice little place, to grab a coffee and pastry. There is also a Wi-Fi connection. It would be cool if they could expand and serve breakfast and lunch options too..

I like the coffee, but the Camillus shop has an off putting smell to it. I kind of assumed the worker I almost always saw there had BO, but I’ve been there at different times and it’s still there. BUT, the workers there are always friendly and seem happy to serve really good coffee.

Needed a cup of coffee and being in the Camillus area I thought why not check it out! I love that it's in the old Camillus cutlery building. I'm soooo glad they did not demolish this building!!! They have special coffees right now for the Girl Scout cookie flavors so it was hard to choose so I'll have to come back to try others. I tried the Samoa mocha and it was delicious! Flavors just like the cookie. The service was great but it was slow being 1/2 hour before closing. The only downside was 6.56 for a small coffee but I know prices are going up on everything. Give this coffee shop a try.

Coffee was fine enough but super expensive. $5.50 for a medium cappuccino? Yikes. Quite a lot more expensive than most places for a not super frufy drink. Maybe just my opinion, but there it is. Not much seating at all. More outside in the summer but in the winter there was one table and one long bar.
