“Always like coming here. A bit out of the way but good coffee, food, and atmosphere. Only issue were the sandwiches (ordered 4 different options) all were VERY HEAVILY toasted in butter. Way too much and leaves it very greasy. Coffee was nice and hot and all the staff were super friendly and helpful.”
“Good Ole country place atmosp. I've eaten here at least five times in past year. If you're going on a Friday and want the prime rib You have to Reserve The rib At least a day in advance So they know how many to cook. Very good. Perfectly COOKED. The chicken sandwich was stellar. French onion soup was great! Appetizers- trifecto bland; onion rings-big n crispy, good ; BUT my once favorite potato skins were tiny, shriveled, and dry w a bit of cheddar on top.Oh, be careful of the floor in front of the ladies room, it's sunken in.”
“Awesome deli and I pasted some photos of the menu but please note that the prices are updated from what it says on the menu and are a little bit higher. That being said it is totally worth it!”
“It was so cool when we walked into the happy atmosphere!Kid-friendliness: My daughter Emily was very happy when she stepped in, and the waiter was very sweet towards my family!”
“Today was my first time at this hidden "gem" Great ice cream!Something for EVERYONE...gluten free, dairy free, sugar free, etc.The best selection! From Gelato, soft serve, ices, etc. The outdoor sitting area is spacious. The parking is more than adequate. Highly recommend trying the gelato!!”
“I love this place!! The food, the atmosphere and the service were top notch!! I’ll definitely recommend to everyone!! Will surely be back!! Thanks Guys ! Best TACOS hands down!”
“Cappuccino on a smoky side, no latte art either. (As explained by the owner, due to a style of cappuccino I opted for, seemingly). Will opt for another one next time.Friendly owner of the place and a nice vibe.PS that was like 2 plus years ago. According to the newer reviews and photos, it looks much better. I think it’s time to check it out again.Giving a 5 star for the customer service communication as the owner is very polite and responsive. Will check this place out again to see what has changed over the years.”
“Great place. Food is delicious. Had a gyro and it was the best I have had in a really long time. Octopus is absolutely delicious. Very friendly staff and excellent customer service. Can't wait to go back.”
“Surf and Turf is egg over bits of steak and shrimp over a bowl of spicy rice…very good if you like spice. Brussel sprouts are outstanding. The jerk chicken is served with a bowl of spicy rice. A coconut mojito is excellent with lots of fresh mint mixed in. Service is very good in this small venue. No doubt they will grow in size, hopefully the menu will grow as well.Parking: The restaurant is located on a corner lot plaza.”
“We're new to the neighborhood and are delighted to discover this outstanding bakery!Came in yesterday and bought 2 dozen of the filled cookies (raspberry, apricot, chocolate & caramel) to treat my staff with. The cookies vanished in moments and everyone thought they were delicious! The khachipuri with za'atar and potato bureka were delicious. The khachipuri was soft with a flavorful mix of cheeses; the bureka had a flaky and crispy exterior with a perfectly seasoned mashed potato filling! So happy to have found you.”
“This place was so cozy and welcoming. Everything we ordered was tasty and comforting: Coxinha, Pierogi, and Golabki. We enjoyed looking out the window to the nice town. Great experience!”
“Food was good. Relatively clean. Broccoli came out cold and tasted funny. Service was great until the end. Took forever to get the check and when we gave cash they only brought back a large bill. You should always give your patrons smaller bills to leave a proper tip. I had to ask for change to do this. More wasted time! Lucky for them we didn't just leave!”
“OMG, the best small cafe in the Hudson Valley, and it's a small book store. The young ladies that work there are the best baristas I have ever met. The location is in the heart of Harriman, and there is parking. Just don't go over the speed limit. The cop will pull you over. I had an #americano and a creme brulee lcheese cake that was to die for so light and delicious. The location is a gem a welcome to the neighborhood. Go and try it. You will go back.”

“My little girl and I have stopped in a couple times before going to the movies. This place is a little gem. It's warm and inviting as well. The owner is friendly and is all about customer service. The ice cream store is extremely clean and they have seating available for you and your family as well. We live an hour away and enjoy this place over all of the other ice cream places in between. Give them a try. You won't be disappointed.”
“I had my daughter’s baby shower here and it was an excellent experience. The food was delicious and Marc and his staff could not have been nicer and more helpful. I would recommend this place for any party you may be having or just for a dinner night out. Thank you ”
“Very neat place with awesome atmosphere. Solid craft beer list (unfortunately missed my tastes but still a good list). Bartender was super friendly and fun.We unfortunately only got wings here and they were not good. They were dry, small, and the dry rub only hit one side. So that side was overpoweringly flavored and the other was just dry chicken.Their menu looks awesome and some of the other food we saw coming out looked really good. But the wings were decidedly not good.Hope to come back another day and try some other food and switch to 5 stars.”
“I've been frequenting Diplomat Cafe in Goshen, NY since I opened my office down the street in 2022. I must say, the owner is incredibly sweet, the lattes are delicious, and the pastries...well, let's just say I've added a few lbs. lately and I don't care who knows it. Very highly recommended!”
“Allan's is excellent food served in a charming atmosphere. The owners are sure to be seen greeting and interacting with their customers. The service is top shelf with reasonable prices.”
“A must visit for everyone. By far the best sushi in the Hudson Valley. I visit here all the time and their all you can eat sushi is amazing and the best deal around.”
“Classic old time ice cream stand. Weir's was used for a scene in the movie "The Irishman". We go there all summer. It's open now for the season.”
“Cozy little diner with excellent food. Best sweet potato fries I've ever had. The pulled pork sandwich was delicious. The reasonably priced meal included soup and desert.”
“Great atmosphere, historic building where carriages and sleighs were built in the 1800's. Staff was great. Dined on stuffed mushrooms and calamari, then tasty chicken and mashed potato's. Food was delicious.”
“Wow! Great atmosphere, live music, tasty beers and food. Definitely try one or more of their pizzas. This place is great for both small and large groups, as well as families and little ones. It's a dog-friendly establishment as well. We'll probably be back!”
“Delicious chiles rellenos , cantaloupe water and guacamole. The owners are very nice! Great service, we will be coming backVegetarian options: Chile relleno of cheese, vegetarian tacos”
“Plenty of parking across the street. Very laxed on dietary restrictions. Will accommodate to your needs. Friendly family owned business. Pizza is nice, thin and crispy which is my preference for pizza. Highly ”
“Came one random night for my lunch break, had the Super quesadilla, lemme tell you, it's named super appropriately. Man it was good. Service was wonderful. They let me be in peace or chatted when I wanted too.”
“Love that it's family run and everyone is helping out. The ice cream is the freshest I have ever had you can just taste the fresh flavor it's nothing like out of the carton. The Horchata was also delicious.”
“Their service and atmosphere is unique to the Monroe & Hudson Valley NY area as you don’t get the personalized attention anywhere else. I see a lot of posts asking where the best French Onion Soup, and/or wings are in Monroe and the surrounding areas, I tried them all - Bourbon has the best!!”

“This place is a gem! Reminds me of the pizza of my childhood in the Bronx. The pizza, the assortment of rolls and the stuffed spinach pizza are off the charts! Owner is so nice, accommodating and friendly. I can’t say enough nice things about this place. Give it a try!!”
