My favorite salad at WEST END has always been THE MANGO CHICKEN SALAD. It always included chicken. This is not the case now. The charge for greens and mushy mangoes with a bit of cheese is now approximately $18 sans chicken. That was disappointing to me. The mangoes used to be fresh but I believe that they were frozen, resulting in mushy defrosted fruit. Of course, I ordered the chicken to add to the salad. That was tender and juicy.

My wife and I ordered from the Twilight Dinner Menu, which has a number of interesting choices. She and I both had the Duck Taco appetizer - excellent! Then she had the salmon (her usual choice), and I had the short ribs. Again, excellent. For dessert, she had the brownie, most of which she took home, and I had the ice cream parfait - which I finished. The total price, before tax and tip, was only $87, even though the short ribs had an extra $5 cost. At other restaurants of this quality, we would have spent $150 or more. Thank you West End Cafe.

Went to celebrate my son's 1 st wedding anniversary and made a note on the reservation. When they served our dessert they put candles in theirs and wished them a happy anniversary. I was very impressed that they acknowledged it

We were 4 people for Dinner. The Food was fabulous, The service was great We all agreed that this is one of the best secrets of Westbury. This is not our first time we have eaten there. This restaurant has excellent Management You really feel like they go out of there way to make you feel happy that you chose to spend the evening with them. We look forward to returning to enjoy West End Cafe soon. Thank you

I've been going to West End Cafe for a very long time. The food is consistently great and the service as well. The atmosphere is pretty, at times we've sat at the bar and enjoyed our meal there! I highly recommend !!

My girlfriend ordered a grilled chicken Caesars salad dressing on the side thank God the dressing on the side because it was not your average Caesars dressing. since we could not, figure out what it taste like, it was asked for other options and they really wasn't too many ended up eating the salad with no dressing, I ordered sweet potato fries, and they came salted

Hadn't been a long time. I met a friend there. He had Shrimp Tacos appetizer and a burger with sweet potato fries salad with blue cheese. He enjoyed all of the items. I had rice and lentil soup in chicken broth good but a little salty. For a main aI chicken ib a skillet in tarragon sauce with mixed veggies. It was good. We shared a few biscottis with coffee and tea. The server was excellent The restaurant was very crowded and extremely loud.

Food is always delicious, excellent service is always provided, the place is clean and I love the vibe. My issue with WEC is they treat debit card transactions like a credit card, and add a 4% surcharge. After a lovely meal it left a bad taste in my mouth.

I have been a patron of this restaurant for many years and it never disappoints. The menu is diverse and everything is delicious. The complimentary garlic rolls are so addicting that even if you eat nothing else, you would be satisfied. They are better than any pizzeria's garlic knots! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu and the portions are quite plentiful. It is still Long Island's best kept secret! .

My friends and I have been coming here for many years and have always enjoyed the ambiance, service and of course, the food. During our last visit, three of us had the lamb pizette, a new item on the menu- it was delicious! I commented to our waiter, Alex how much we enjoyed it and the chef came out to receive our compliments. After patronizing West End Cafe for so long, it was nice to meet the chef who has given us so many wonderful meals.

My fiancée and I went for the early bird special. We were looking forward to this as we had this special a few months ago and we were very pleased with that dinner. Unfortunately, upon our return, we were quite disappointed. To start, my roasted beet and goat cheese salad was not as advertised. It was romaine lettuce with a few chopped tomatoes. The salad was flat and boring. Both main courses were much smaller than last time as I had the organic cast iron skillet chicken and my fiancée had the shrimp risotto. Neither of us are big eaters but the chicken was much smaller than last time and included a bunch of cauliflower and veggies that weren't included last time. They also have a credit card charge which is not on their website. We felt a bit cheated and will not be returning. Perhaps they should re-label this the mini-bird special rather than the early bird special. 1 star
