“So I really love some of the staff at this location. Very friendly and always a smile. Great face to face customer service! However my coffee/ latte, isn’t always right. Unfortunately as of lately usually not right. I know my coffee, I order it exactly the same, each time, but sadly it’s a rarity it’s correct lately. Consistency should be key. But things happen and i had overlooked that especially being able to relate in the service industry. But it does kinda get annoying at 5 something a latte and it repeatedly is something you can’t drink.They started staying open till 11, GREAT loved that! But it was extremely short lived. It was said business wasn’t productive in the extra open hours, but truth be told, it hadn’t been open to 11 long enough to respectively come to that business decision, As it takes time for people to realize and become accustomed to the new hours. So now unfortunately I can’t stop on the way home like I usually would.What’s even more frustrating and why I chose to write this review is, now they close at 8 again. They don’t have a posted limited menu after a certain time, so I can’t understand why on a Friday night at 7:24pm, they can’t make a latte, and cold or frozen drinks because they are closing soon. And also can’t do grilled cheese for the same reason. ( has happened more than a few times but the specific day and time is most recent)So in conclusion, like I said there are some great people who I have encountered here, but the rest has made me decide to stop way less frequently. And I was a regular every day, sometimes twice a day customer. My hope is that reviews like this don’t “get people in trouble “ that’s not at all my intention. But maybe, hopefully it’s read and most important, improvement can be made from it. I’m still giving 5 stars because again it’s not to get anyone in trouble but hopefully management can use it as a coaching opportunity/tool.“

“Stopped in here during a long road trip from Stowe VT to Harrisburg PA. Previous outstanding reviews are spot on...this place is EXCELLENT! We all had the Smokin' Pig sandwich... YUMMY!!! The meat was flavored so good without having to be smothered with BBQ sauce. It had the perfect amount of sauce. Our sides of cole slaw and baked beans were also EXCELLENT! The gentleman who took our order was super nice and provided great service. We will certainly be back our next trip through.“

“Welcome to the local breakfast/lunch spot in Albany’s “midtown neighborhood.” The only place that is consistently open 7days per week (6a weekdays, 7a weekends). Great for meetings, quick bites on your way to work (always easy parking early am) or a place to hang out “central perk/“friends style. Everybody will know your name in no-time.“

“Woah. Just had the Big L. Had to grab something quick before catching a bus so went in with no expectations. Service was great. They ran out of whatever bread they usually use for the sandwich and gave me ciabatta instead. Loved it. Broccoli rabe was a nice touch. Big W for the “Big L”“

“Stopped in before and liked their coffee. Considering that the other small coffee shop that I was a loyal customer to (since the shutdown) had closed, I figured I'd give Stacks another shot. Had a coffee and a bagel egg sandwich (Greg) and was more than satisfied. Definitely found my new spot for a coffee and egg sandwich. They're open on Saturday, which is a definite plus. I'll be frequenting them more.“

“Very good coffee and service. Lots of space to sit and work. Clean space - more industrial than cozy. This is not a place to get snacks. They have a few pastries if you really need something, but there is a bahn mi place in the same building for something more substantial. Alias is open until 5, including Saturdays and Sundays, which is appreciated since many places are closed on weekends in that neck of the woods.“

“I love this cafe’s lighting and drinks. I enjoy the food but a personal take, I wish they would make the whole menu gluten free since it looks like they would only have to switch to an alternative bread and granola to do so. Their mocha donuts are delicious.“

“RUN!!!!! Don’t walk here! Food was absolutely AMAZING!!! Very generous portions!! First time trying this spot and I will forever give them my business!! “I have wanted to try the Troy location but it's always packed so it was nice to jump in here. I got a specialty latte-pistachio orange blossom.. So delicious but so sweet. If I had it again I'd ask for half the syrup. Could be because I also got Oatmilk which is sweet. Pricey drink--over $8. I don't think this would be an every day stop but I did enjoy it, staff was lovely and it's a great space.“

“Cute little shop with a counter only inside and 2 small tables outside. Enjoyed a 10 oz latte with oat milk for $4.59 that was strong, a little bitter but tasty. Barista was pleasant and efficient but didn't make eye contact (which would have earned this review 5 stars).“

“I was SO happy to be able to order their bagels and coffee and get them delivered to a nearby nursing home (where I was watching my uncle die from an aggressive cancer).They say in order to take care of others you need to take care of yourself; getting s wonderful hot coffee and food, within minutes, allowed me to have the mindset and strength to get through the tough road ahead.“

“I was Surprisingly, please to have arrived at city line cafe. The vibe was definitely farmed to the table, and the atmosphere was very comforting. It's a great local mom and pop shop. And I couldn't be more happy with the food it was so fresh, made right there in front of me. I'm very fast as well.
