“First time at Wise Guys tonight and it was great. First off, I did screw up making a reservation but the super nice man (assuming an owner) was still able to find us a table. We had a great seat next the window, food was fantastic, server was friendly. We were too stuffed for dessert but got it to go and it’s fantastic. I love that they have a specific gluten free section on the menu as well so you don’t have to try and guess. Definitely want to come out there more often.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free.”

We treated ourselves to a delightful selection of coffee, including drip coffee and iced coffee, paired with a scrumptious muffin. Although we only indulged in the muffin, its freshness was unmistakable. While the prices for the coffee were on the higher side, the quality certainly did not disappoint. A lovely spot to savor freshly brewed coffee and immerse oneself in the surroundings. Additionally, there are cozy seats available to unwind and relish your coffee to the fullest.”

“When I first arrived to area I look for places to create anchors to. I found all at Wrights are awesome. They were able to welcome this stranger, be friend him and consider myself lucky to be considered as family. The food is like you would get over the family table. Atmosphere is just as rich and enjoyable as the food! Thank you !!!!! Give it a try and I am sure you will say you agree!!!! I dine in to feel at home! Ohhhhh take advantage of homemade food gifts too!Kid-friendliness: I personally witnessed the people treat the kids as equal in importance to all. The staff really cares.”

“Best ice cream around, hands down. It's custard, so it's extra thick and creamy. Peanut butter soft serve is really excellent, but their basic chocolate and vanilla is tasty as well. Really nice outdoor seating area by the water, take a short walk across the little foot bridge for an almost always empty pavilion, or the village dock with ample parking is just down the road for some different scenery. Service is always friendly and quick. The only thing I don't care for is their chocolate sprinkles. They're the hard crunchy ones that don't taste like chocolate. Not a dealbreaker since the ice cream is so good on its own, but a switch back to the better ones would be much appreciated. Regardless, this is the best ice cream you will find in the area and I will always bring visiting friends here over anywhere else.”

“Straders was such a great amenity in Sackets; we lived in SH while stationed at Fort Drum, and frequently made the stop for ice cream. The staff is friendly and the ice cream is delicious. We love the variety of flavors! Highly recommend.”

“My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at The Barracks Inn on June 10th, 2023 and everything was extraordinary! When I say "everything" and "extraordinary", I sincerely mean it. From the beginning of the months of planning, to the big day, it was a pleasure and a blessing to work with Kim! The communication was superb and the choices of packages were abundant. She was able to offer food and service options that, not only were fantastic for our guests, but fit our targeted budget. The décor was beautiful inside and outside! The food was absolutely fantastic! The service (including her family team) was outstanding! I even changed the cake cutting from being held inside to having it out on the dock at the last second, and it all just happened so quickly and seamlessly! The cake, knife, photographer, and all appeared before me on the dock with the backdrop of beautiful Lake Ontario :) I highly recommend anybody who is planning any sort of special event to reach out to Kim at The Barracks Inn.
