Had to try taco Tuesday at Pubski. Ordered a chicken taco mild and a steak taco. Both are huge and delicious. They only have tacos on Tuesday. Waitress was friendly and very accommodating. Give it a try next time you're out that way.

A friend recommended the Pubski Pub to meet for lunch. This was my first time eating real Polish food and it was yummy! Try the Golabski soup and pierogis. The potato pancakes were also good. The waitress was friendly and helped with our choices.

Awesome corner bar. Great food, quick bartenders and wonderful wait staff. The fish fry is very good and huge. Will definitely be back.Parking: You can park in the lot across the street. The church that owns the lot only asks for no overnight parking.

On Friday, a week before Easter, this place was a Fish Fry Factory. Almost every customer was repeating the mantra: "Must Eat Fish Fry", except me. I'll never learn a wise way to make choices in restaurants, ugh. I could have anything, even a Pubski Garbage Plate, but I ordered French Onion Soup which actually was garbage. My soup was served in a smaller than usual crock pot, and it wasn't even filled to the top. Why was my soup uneatable? Maybe, whoever fixed my meal that afternoon had the idea to empty the pot with the rest of the soup? Then everything, along with all the black pepper lying at the bottom, landed in a small bowl? It was so peppery I almost died unexpectedly coughing my lungs out. My partner's Diet Coke brought me back to life. I could send the soup back to the kitchen, but then what? I just stuck with the Coke and ate the fatty cheese from the top of the soup. I can't say much about the quality of the rest of our dinner, but I tasted the fish and really, it wasn't that great. The fish didn't have much flavor. It was one of those fish filets you buy cheaper and soak with lemon juice and covered with tartar sauce, so it tastes better. Definitely, the beer batter and deep frying process spiked its taste. My partner thought the only thing worth mentioning was the potato salad and piece of fresh rye bread with butter. Our server was good. I also liked the lively, exciting atmosphere. I truly understand any tradition, especially something like Fish Fry during lent in an older Polish neighborhood. I'm sure my review won't hurt. We just thought it was weird when a stranger walked by our table and shared with us his negative opinion about the food. It was definitely a sign.

We went to Pubskis for the first time yesterday (Good Friday) around 3 & the place was very crowded. We put our names on the list, had about 40 min wait to be seated so enjoyed libations while waiting. Fast forward to the food: Polish Platter was excellent, no microwaved food on it! Hot & delicious. The fish fry & broiled fish was huge & my husband and friend raved about it. The staff handled the tremendous crowd well. Kudos to them! We will definitely be back.

What a great Polish, community staple. The food is hands down amazing, the service is great; the girls are wonderful there; and the clientele is very friendly! The menu and the people make you want to keep going back for more. This place is always packed and I see why. The beer-battered fish fry, panko fish fry, and lemon pepper fish with sides were on point! The banana pepper dip was very good as well, but the French onion soup; wow! You haven’t been, you are missing out!

Changed it up and went somewhere that we have not been to to try a local fish fry for Lent. The Pubski Pub has a large bar area and a roomy dining area adjacent to the bar. We were seated right away upon arrival, and the place was busy for a usual Friday out. Ordered drinks and food, well drinks and a beer battered fish fry and a lemon pepper broiled fish fry. The server asked if we wanted the full or half portion, so we ordered the full. Took about an hour for the food to come out, but we were in no hurry and being as busy as it was, didn't expect to be quick. When the food came out, the full portion was actually two pieces of fish! If we had known that, we would have both ordered the half portion. All the salads were home-made from what we could tell. The beer battered was light and crispy, and the broiled was moist and tender. The rye bread was so fresh that it was soft. Made me think this may have been freshly baked as well. So I would recommend d coming in with a healthy appetite or plan on taking leftovers home!

Great fish fry. Very large portion for $17 a plate. The place was also very crowded, so I could see that it is very popular.
