Aside from anything else, I like this is one of the few indoor friendly dog options in the area. Most of the time I'm very happy to and even prefer sitting outside but it's nice to have the indoor option in cool, cold or rainy weather. Beers are good (with a huge selection) and there is a food truck permanently on premises that serves some good BBQ. The Singlecut was a perfect place to host my daughters baby shower! Teresa Campbell is such a great lady. Nate, our friendly bar tender, was attentive to the guests. The venue is super clean & personable. I would definitely use The Singlecut for another event!
Not the old taproom that Schmaltz had. Much nicer. It is on the North side of the building overlooking Yankee Distillery with a great patio that was a bit wet. Not busy, surprisingly, on a Saturday but the customers that were there appreciated having a brewery that lets dogs inside. Of course you have the typical Astoria lineup of beer and good music.
