Went to KFC/Taco Bell in Cobleskill last night at 8PM. Dining in as dining was empty. As we placed the order and ready to sit, they tell us, “Sorry folks, dining is closed for maintenance, you need to take it outside.” As we left, they locked the doors behind us. No signs on the door. We sat in the vehicle to eat. As we start pulling one of the orders, it was missing a chicken breast, Mac and cheese, and fries. (Supposed to be a box with two chicken breast pieces, biscuit, and Mac and cheese. Instead he got one chicken breast and one chicken wing BONE, and a biscuit with a side order of fries.) My son gets out and bangs on the door. Louder and louder! Manager peeked but nothing, ignored it. Employee wiping tables, looked, but ignored it. I told my son to bang on the door until someone comes to him. My son noticed a bag on the counter sitting there. Person cleaning the table finally asks, “What do you need?” Instead of, “Can I help you?” He proceeds to tell the employee what is missing with his order … goes back to wiping tables while his food sat cold on the counter. Once done, grabbed and gave it to my son. And that is just one of the orders! And his chicken breast was soggy as his biscuit was hard and inedible. My son gets in the car and starts to eat and I pulled the others… My first chicken box was missing fries and my nacho fries box was missing half my nacho fries, and burrito was so soggy when I pulled it out of the bag that it was falling apart. (And again this is at the parking lot pulling everything out of the bags so we can eat.) Another duplicate order of my chicken box was missing half the Mac and cheese. (Like someone took a tablespoon of Mac and cheese and barely filled the container. Tried to let it go, then proceeded to go to the drive thru. I get to the drive thru, “Sorry we are closed, we have no running hot water.” (Which I can understand as it is protocol for any food service facilities.) Couldn’t get two words in and shun away. No signs on their doors or windows. Where is the professionalism? Common food service hospitality? I hope management sees this as this was the worst experience I ever had with KFC/Taco Bell. On top of it, their “Contact Us” online between their app and site are not working properly to send them a proper email.
