Food came to about $120 I have the sweet heat wings and macaroni and cheese, collards and yams overall experience I personally did not care for the food. Also, I ordered the banana pudding which was great but macaroni and cheese with white cheese couldn't figure out which cheese was used but it's definitely wasn't up to my standard yams entirely sweet which I believe in yams being sweets but extremely sweets. The sweet heat wings very very salty. I personally being that this was my first time experience most likely will not be back, but I absolutely loved the customer service experience and that also means a lot when it comes to dealing with people's food.Parking: Very tight parking

I ordered takeout from here for the first time today. It exceeded my expectations. I got the fried chicken, Mac n cheese, and collard greens. I was not prepared to fall in love with the fried chicken but it was perfectly seasoned and perfectly crispy, even after I drove 20 minutes home. The collard greens were so good and flavorful. I will be a repeat customer. 10/10

This is my new “go to” place for soul food. The sweet heat wings were great. Seasoned to perfection. The cabbage was “out of sight”. The next time I don’t feel like cooking I will definitely go to Soul in a Bowl. Oh and the lemon cake was outstanding.

My two y/o said delicious for the first time because of how good that Mac and cheese is!! I had the sweet heat wings and I can’t praise them enough. The wings were crispy, spicy, sour, sweet and packed with seasonings and flavor. After a rough day this is exactly the comfort food I needed. Soul in a bowl is definitely gonna be first on the roster for take out from now on! You guys made a stay at home mom and a picky toddler VERY happy today <3
