“The best Birria my son's ever had- and he's eaten a lot of Birria- and we are from SoCal, land of tacos. I tried the zucchini, the chicken and carnitas tacos "al todos" with everything on them. So delicious! The green salsa is limey and refreshing. 2 tables inside, but lots of seating outside when the weather is warm. Craving tacos? Get them here. SO GOOD!“

“Ok so to start, it’s not a traditional taco compared to what you’re used to. Once you get over that you can enjoy the beautiful flavours of whoever makes these tacos back there. I tried the curry chicken and chose my 5-6 toppings. Wait ~10-15 mins because it’s clearly not just being heated in a microwave, but made fresh. You also choose a side of sauce, & I love the mango sauce. Cost me around $7. It was nothing but delicious & I’ll keep returning! Maybe I’ll try the jerk chicken next time.“

“I had an amazing experience at ama cocina! The service was exceptional, earning a solid 5 stars for drinks, music, and presentation! The staff really went above and beyond to make the dining experience memorable. I'll definitely be back for more!Located in Downtown Albany, ama cocina offers a fresh and funky twist on modern Mexican street food. Their mission to encompass the three most important elements of life - food, laughter, and love - truly shines through in every aspect of the dining experience. From the moment you sit down, you'll notice the attention to detail, both in the ambiance and the food presentation. Eating with your hands and engaging with your neighbors creates a communal atmosphere reminiscent of the "table-talk" days, where bonds were formed over good food and conversation.Don't forget to relax and laugh while you're here - the staff at ama cocina will take care of the rest. It's evident that there's a lot of thought, fun, and love put into every dish served at ama. Welcome to their kitchen, where every meal is prepared with care and passion.“

“Our return visit to Tatu's.. 5 stars across the board for everything--except the food. The service, ambiance, decor, music, & margaritas were all superb! Server Ryan was delightful--funny and accommodating. The food just missed the mark for us. The "crispy" oyster mushrooms in my mushroom taco were leathery, flavorless, and overly salted. And my date and I agreed that the broth that accompanied his greasy birra bordered on "vile". That said, the guac was great!Yes, I'd go back. I really love the place--and would just order something different next time!Vegetarian options: I'm vegan and there were a couple of interesting choices I could have made. If you eat dairy, you'll have even more choices as there is cheese in many of their vegetarian dishes.“

“Mouth-watering and thoughtful menu with creative, nuanced and seasonal inspirations for both food and beverage options. I was very impressed by the shishito peppers, general tso’s chicken bites, french dip and the espresso martini. The apps were perfectly battered, crispy and flavorful. The French dip just hit so right- tender meat, savory au jus, warm, perfectly toasted bread. The fries were perfect- exactly what you’d imagine if you are craving fries! And the highlight of our entire night was our bartender Halsey. Her genuine care in curating our experience cannot be matched. She made great suggestions, interjected with playful humor, read when our group wanted time to chat amongst ourselves, and made a PHENOMENAL cocktail. I mean, the most serious espresso martini anyone could hope for without the overstated hipster flair. 10/10. Would go back just for her. Watching her interact with her other bar guests was also a treat- it’s easy to see how she can command the room & keeps a mighty fine bar! Will certainly be back!“

“I’ve eaten a lot of burritos in the last 30 years, and can easily say that the vegetarian burrito at La Capital was one of the very best I've had in YEARS!! It was packed with zucchini and the beans and salsas were wonderful, and hooray! I will 100% be back to try more things the next time I'm in “

“This is a hidden little restaurant in albany. You go past the convenience store section and the restaurant is in the back. The service was good as there are not many tables, you get lots of attention, and they have an extensive menu. They have many different types of tacos, enchiladas, tortas, and many other Mexican specialties. They have a wide selection of Mexican sodas and horchata. Three tacos come in an order and two orders are more than enough for one person.Vegetarian options: There is a large vegetarian selection.Parking: Only street parking is available and as it is a busy area it may be limited.Kid-friendliness: Great for the whole family.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant does not appear to be wheelchair accessible. The aisles are too narrow to navigate.“

“Very good customer service. We did not dine in but we waited inside for food. I was able to ask question of the young cashier and she was able to understand my questions and make recommendations on food. I even tried this condensed milk drink I saw other customers having. It was great. We will be back.“

“The corn tortillas used are excellent. I could immediately taste the difference, then I saw they make them fresh. Tacos come in a single tortilla, but for a small extra charge, you can ask for double. I ordered the "vampiro tacos" and they didn't disappoint. The meat was juicy, tender, flavorful, and delicious. Nice and crispy. I couldn't leave without eating the item that they are the most famous for: the "birria pizadilla"; which btw It can feed 2 or 3! Hands Down the best I've had!! I'm coming back and bringing the whole family. BTW the venue is very coo. Multiple vendors, but I came to try Taco Libre and glad I did.“

“I love this restaurant! We had the mesquite chicken tacos and the beef lengua tacos. The tacos were authentic and so tasty that we ordered seconds! There is also a small Mexican market attached to the restaurant that sells food, bags, and other household items. We will definitely be back for more!“

“The Daisy is a cute chic taco and margarita place. The tacos are fusion, they have a bulgogi one with kimchi and a fried chicken and a coconut shrimp one plus others. Not authentic Mexican tacos but stills delicious. Classy place. The margaritas are strong! I saw a sign for buy one get one margaritas on Wednesdays. They have a decent amount of tables even though it’s a small place, there is a back room with more tables. The servers were attentive and friendly. The coconut margarita was creamy and I liked the coconut shreds on the rim. Margaritas and tacos are all around $13. Tacos come with 2. Bill can definitely add up but it’s worth it. Great environment to catch up with friends. The chip appetizer with pico de gallo was delicious. The chips had a great crisp, they tasted deep fried. Perfectly salted. I liked my coconut shrimp tacos the best. 2 big meaty shrimp in each taco, crunchy and cooked well and the pineapple in it gave it a nice sweetness. The fried chicken tacos were a mix of dark and light meat chunks, which were very tender and soft. Though a bit too soft for my likening of chicken texture. And the sauce has a very strong cilantro flavor. If I’m in the area again I would love to come back and try other tacos and margarita flavors!“
