I came here to this cafe when I was visiting a few months ago. The inside is cute and pretty spacious! They do have a great selection pastries. I ordered the matcha frappe with a slice of the matcha tiramisu cake. It was so yummy! I loved the cake and frappe so much it was delicious. I also tried out their grilled chicken croissant sandwich but I didn't like it so much. The chicken tasted funny and didn't seem to be cooked. Also, it did take a while for me to get my order. Other people that ordered after me were receiving their orders first. When I asked the cashier how long will it take for me to get my order they were kind of rude to me. I have to knock this place a few stars due to rude service/long wait time and for the sandwich not being so good. I am not sure if I would come back here but if I am ever in the Flushing area I might give it another shot to try out more of their cakes and drinks

I met my girlfriend at Moon Cafe, she was studying for her finals and I was just there for the bathroom. We hooked up. The coffee was superb by the way.

This spot is my go to place for meeting first dates on Tinder, coffee is very nice and a police station is on the same block.

A cozy spot little outside of flushing main St. To be honest, they have the best coffee game in the zip code

Banh Mi sandwich with marinated grilled pork is 5/10. The pork is soggy, chewy and pretty gross. I had several pieces of straight up fat, lard and it was more like braised pork, definitely NOT grilled. Everything else is in the sandwich was decent.

I feel like this place switched management twice already. The original owner was really kind and the menu was pretty good with things like waffles and ice cream, fruits and sandwich etc. Then it changed management once again and it was serving rice rolls and beef noodle soup (the previous owner recommended it and it was so good). Now, they serve banh mi and I have to say, the banh mi that I had was so bad. I ordered a marinated grilled chicken and it was so gross. For $9, you'll get a microwaved (I heard the ding from the microwave) rubbery rancid tasting chicken with freshly toasted bread, decent radish and carrot (you can't mess that up), cilantro and jalapeño (those two were optional). I'm so glad I got the cilantro and jalapeño because it somewhat masked the taste of the chicken. Just stick to the desserts and drinks. They have a bunch of protein options and seemingly from the other reviews, they are just as bad.

Great place to study until late hours which is what I was looking for and needed. Quiet and calming atmosphere. I had the Passion fruit tea and enjoyed it I went to try the Citron Honey Green Tea that was amazing I loved it. I ordered the Bahn Mi sandwich So so yummy. The mozzarella sticks and matcha crepes loves everything. I found my new study cafe ! Yay

It's a really cute little cafe. I went with a friend there and it was very cozy and the workers are very nice. I love their short cake! We tried the strawberry shortcake and it was one of the best piece of cake ever! Absolutely love it.

Came in a little bit after opening and it was not busy at all.The place is very clean and staff is polite. The mango crepe cake is amazing, the vanilla puff is nice and light and the strawberry shortcake was good as well! Definitely enjoyed the desserts and will be back for more!

A friend and I stopped by here as we waited for the train. We both shared a slice of the strawberry shortcake and agreed after that we should have ordered more. It was light enough and had just the right amt of sweetness. Worth trying if youre in the area!

I just hate that they don't have any non dairy milk. I waited outside for 20 minutes to get breakfast and the girl at the front told me they only carry "non dairy" or "half and half" and when I asked to see the non dairy milk She showed me a Lactaid bottle. I told her it's still dairy, it's milk. She should really be precise in explaining that it's LACTOSE free. No one really wants breakfast without coffee or tea so I had to leave. So sad since I really wanted to try some of their vegan food options

Moon Cafe provides a variety of food ranging from coffee to bahn mi's, and has a large assortment of drinks, desserts, and sandwiches/burgers to choose from. I come here relatively often with my friends to study or to just meet and talk. Since it does get a bit loud in here, I wouldn't recommend it as the best study space, but is better in comparison to the local Starbucks or Bubble Tea shop. Although I did not take any pictures the last time I came, the interior is lovely and cozy. In the back, there are couches to relax on and a lovely Christmas tree. Across the counter are individual tables for groups of 2-6, so you can study there if you want or come with a group of friends. The reason I couldn't give this lovely place 5 stars is because of the food quality. Despite there being a great menu to choose from, the quality of the food is not the best for the price I'm paying. Given that it is located in Flushing and there is similar food just a walk away, Moon Cafe falls short in the food that they deliver to their customers. However, I would definitely recommend this place for someone who needs a place to sit down since there is a good amount of seating. I would definitely come back again!

Update: They delivered to my house 25 min after I asked them to cancel and told them I was writing a bad review. Order had already been cancelled through Uber eats. I seem to have had the same experience as everyone who tried to order for delivery. I ordered at 11:10 on UberEats and it said it would arrive between 12:10 and 12:30. It did not say the driver left until 12:17. I called the restaurant at 12:46 because the status had not changed and they said the driver had left and was on the way. I called again at 1:08 and they said the same thing, driver was supposed to be to you 5-10 min ago but must have hit traffic, he will call you soon. I called at 1:25 and was then given the phone number for the driver, who was supposed to call me at this point several times, the driver told me he didn't speak English and couldn't help me. I called back to the restaurant at 1:26 and asked the restaurant manager to call the driver himself on speaker and see where he was, he did and they got into a loud heated conversation in what I'm assuming was Chinese since that's what the driver said he spoke. The restaurant staff person told me that he said he was going to be another 15 min. I asked to cancel the order at that point because it was obvious they had not left the restaurant and knew nothing about my order. The guy seemed more than happy to "cancel" and was not apologetic whatsoever. Absolutely a scam.

* only based off of coffee experience * My boyfriend and I came into Moon Café hoping to escape a cold winter day. A lot of the drink spots in the area don't have indoor seating, so we were really glad to find this although it is a bit off of the beaten path in Chinatown. If you're looking for a spot to sit down for a while or study, this is perfect. There are both tables and couches available inside and there seemed to be many outlets. I was really surprised to find that there were no milk alternatives available on the coffee menu. I honestly can't remember the last time this has happened to me! Even the Boba spots seem to have lactate or milk as options. Since I don't drink dairy, this left me to order an Americano when I was craving a latte. This is the only reason I'm knocking one star! I hope they upgrade their menu to consider dietary preferences and allergies! The americano was good. It came impressively hot which we appreciated in the cold. The food honestly looked great, I wouldn't mind coming back to try more of the menu!
