Worst bakery some time ago i bought a banna bread and it was full of mold. I recently purchased a raspberry torte and the crust stuck to the card board server so bad that you could not get a pie server under it to serve it thecrust tasted like flour and water the raspberry filling tasted like thick unflavored gelatin. It was so embarrassing to serve I threw it out. The worst buyer beware!!!

I was at the Levittown location, on a line waiting to pick up an ordered birthday cake. There is another counter taking numbers for new orders. A man was waiting with his mentally challenged son. The young boy was acting out, being very loud. A troublemaking customer gave that man a hard time so the man walked out with his son. A teacher gave the troublemaker a deserved hard time. She said she works with challenged kids and he had no idea what he just did. Troublemaker's wife said she was also a teacher and verbal arguments ensued. Not only did the Management do nothing, they happily served the troublemaker. I said to the troublemaker on his way out the door "let's go outside and I will give you what you deserve*. Now I know many may see this as I was escalating things, but if you were not there you cannot grasp the emotional impact of what happened that day. A worker told me he was going to call the police on me. I said "now you're going to do something?" I followed the troublemaker out, and he ran off. I returned to my spot on the line and the other customers patted me on the back telling me "I did the right thing" So, I will never buy Dortonis's baked goods ever. Knowing the inept way they handled this. Dortoni owners and staff "you are a bunch of cowards" to the man with the son, my heart bleeds for what you went thru that day. Boycott this bakery. The staff in Commack left a response exonerating themeelves as this event happened in Levittown. Same owners. No excuses for their inattentive behavior. I will never go to any Dortoni bakery.

We went in a few weeks ago for a cake testing for our special day and was told it’s by appt only. So we went for our appt today and from the parking lot we were able to see they had people already sitting down being helped.We waited 20 minutes past our 1130 appt for the lady to have an attitude with us as if we had just walked in and we were late. Proceeded to tell us that we weren’t there for our appt so they took someone else. Obviously she had already taken someone else before our appt and couldn’t even apologize for it. Really just a nasty attitude on her to where we decided to go ahead and use another bakery.We were really disappointed for the amount of money we’ve spent in there over the years to have been treated like that.Looks like after all these years we will just use another bakery.

First time trying this bakery. Got a pastry filled with cannoli cream and although the cream itself was good the outer part of the pastry had an odd taste. Almost like onion. Unfortunately we will not be coming back here

A girl from the store named Gabby calls me and tells me that they don't have a large pie and only a small pie. I explained that I have a whole bunch of people coming and she goes I'll call you back and hung up on me. I receive a small pie and they refunded me the difference without a call back. The small pie is the equivalent of something I can eat myself. I called the store and spoke to this girl Gabby again and she said to me well I'm sorry sir there's nothing I can do and if you have a problem you can take it up with DoorDash. A store I've been shopping in for 15 years going back to levittown is going to lose a customer because they have little girls answering the phone who have no idea what customer service means. So now I have to go out and go somewhere else and get something else.
