A friend recommended this restaurant to us to celebrate my dad's birthday. The food and staff were both great. The owner was also there that evening and was super nice, she came out to greet us and to wish for my dad to have a wonderful birthday.

Ramen was fantastic, tasty and flavorful! The Hero Roll and sashimi were super tasty and presented beautifully! My kids enjoyed the Pork Gyoza, Crispy Chicken Katsu, and the Yaki Udon chicken as well. Ginger ice and Mango Mochi were great finishers. We will definitely be back!

I highly recommend this restaurant. If you're looking for some good Asian cuisine or great sushi. I've been going here since I was a kid and have yet to find another place that servers sushi this good. The portion size is very generous and the fish is extremely fresh. The kitchen food is very tasty too. I love their Oyster Yaki, and the Hamchi Kama. The workers are also very hospitable and makes you feel welcome. The owners all have been very kind and friendly which makes me like going there even more. This is also a normal birthday spot for me and my family.
One of the few authentic Japanese restaurants on Long Island. (My family grew up in Japan) I've been coming here for years, it's its consistently amazing. This is delicious. So much love for this place. I cannot recommend enough.

Really fresh high grade sushi and sashimi! If you are vegan, many choice of rolls available and I tried asparagus and mushroom with soy wrap which was a winner! Chirashi sushi was so huge and delicious. Server is very friendly and super nice!!

Unlike many of the average sushi places that cater to volume, Kurofune has the largest selection of unique rolls that I've seen outside of NYC. If it were closer to our home, we would be going every week.
