Just had lunch here and i was very impressed. The food was fresh and delicious. The owner was in the restaurant and came over to make everything was perfect. And the staff was friendly. I will definitely going back anytime i am in the area.

I have been before, but I ordered 2 gluten free pitas today. There were two separate pitas wrapped in foil. I assumed each pita was just separately wrapped. I ate the first pita and then opened the second wrapper. It had 2 pitas in it that looked totally different--the gluten free pitas. Neither the glutenous nor gluten free pita were labeled. Unbeknownst to me, I had eaten a full glutenous pita. I am waiting for my inevitable horrible Celiac reaction. I have warned this restaurant about proper labeling before if they plan to automatically include regular pita. This was the last straw. I called and spoke to the manager. His first response was to ask them not to include the glutenous pita in the future. I said that does not help me now. He verbatim said, "What do you want me to do about it?" I told him he should be training his folks to label things properly. I don't want others to get sick, and I will be now due to their negligene. I asked for his name and he hung up. I should have known better. Folks with gluten intolerances or Celiac, beware.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free options, but I do not recommend for people with Celiac or intolerances. They have repeatedly failed to label things for me, and now I will pay the price and get sick.

Had a Gyro and a chicken souvlaki with a Greek salad. Fantastic gyros were a good size. Salad was excellent with their homemade Greek dressing. I highly recommend this establishment. Plus, the inside was decorated in a very nice fashion and extremely clean.

Have been wanting to try this place for a while. We missed out one night when they changed their hours.I ordered the flaming gyro deluxe, my wife had one of their Greek salads.The gyro was one of the better tasting ones I've had in this area. I've been to another Greek establishment a few minutes away from here, although the portions are huge, the taste and freshness is not all there.My gyro arrived stuffed with freshly sliced meat, lettuce, onion, a few tomatoes and a larger side of flaming tzatziki sauce which offered a little heat which was welcome, large side of crispy fries.My wife's salad was colorful with ripe tomatoes, cucumbers, tossed with seasoning and dressing on the side. She was impressed about the portion size given the cost (when compared to other establishments that charge way more for less) and the crispness of the salad made it tasty and satisfying.We're definitely going to give it another try and sample something different. Looking for multiple items to add for when we have company over, we can order to share.Looking forward to our next visit.Vegetarian options: Salads with hummus, eggplant spread and tzatziki...

Excellent food, service and prices. Got the chicken gyro lunch special with awesome Greek salad. My wife had the falafel Gyro and she absolutely loved it. She also felt that the Greek salad was as good as any she's had. Cute little place and the man at the counter was very helpful with making choices and even recommended the lunch special because it was a better deal for us. Highly recommend this place. It's nothing fancy, but if you want some really good Greek Food, give it a try.

I went to Greece this summer and the food is pretty comparable to Simply Greek Express! On Wednesdays they have $9 gyros, which are not only delicious, but they are a steal. The staff was super friendly and attentive. It is definitely one of the better Greek cuisine places in the area!

my chicken souvlaki sand was SO good, such a large portion for the price, and the lemon soup was the best lemon soup i've ever had, not that i've had many. highly recommend though.

The best Greek food I have found in years. The staff is awesome. The restaurant is clean, well laid out with an almost open kitchen. Can not go wrong going hereParking: It's a small lot shared with another store or two but I have never had a hard time getting a spot.
The food here is wonderful! He said I'm up it's not overly spiced like some Greek places. I think it was just perfect the lemon chicken soup is amazing! One of the best I've had. Everything is so fresh and delicious. The staff is so nice and friendly and that makes a huge difference for the experience. It was our first time there and they couldn't be nicer. I absolutely love their tzatziki. AND it's real extra virgin olive oil in their salad dressing, you can actually taste it . The next night we actually ordered from there again and I got chicken gyro bladder and it was amazing! Highly recommend this place!
Great food. But if you do takeout, make sure to check before going home. TWICE they forgot to add tzatziki sauce in the bag . Called them and said best they can do was give me the sauce if I go back and pick up. Not about to go back in the car to pick up when it's their mistake.

Honestly the best, most authentic Greek I've had in a long time! The Avgolemono soup was so lemony and bright with just the right amount of chicken and rice. The chicken on our Greek salad was juicy and grilled to perfection! We are fans for LIFE! Will always stop at this cute spot every time I'm in Commack!
