“You can put on a pair of gloves grab a paper bag go into the back of the bakery where all the different bread is on shelving pick what you want and then come back out. They also have an excellent selection of cakes and cookies and many more things and shopping there for over 20 yearsParking: The place is very busy and sometimes it is difficult to find a parking space but parking spaces open up every few minutes.“

“Oh my!! If you pass this spot up you are missing out. We ordered the cupcakes, chocolate chip cookies, and Cinnabons. The cupcakes were so soft and velvety. I was expecting had and grainy but these cupcakes are built as if you made regular ones and pulled them out the oven. My mouth watered eating them. The chocolate chip cookies were also soft and delicious. This place needs a stop when you're in the neighborhood. Even for the non vegan crowd these baked good will leave you surprised and ordering additional.“

“Having just relocated to the area, First Village Coffee is the community hub I have been seeking. Often walking into a coffee shop for the first time can feel daunting, but I received a genuinely warm welcome (and farewell) from multiple staff members, which immediately made we feel like staying for a while. I noticed how the owner engaged with regulars and newcomers with equal interest and regard, which was a pleasant change from places that choose not to focus on building relationships with their clientele. The cro-muffin was delicious, soft in the middle with a crunch from the crystallized sugar on the outside, and my rose-cardamom latte was hand-delivered with care. Thank you for supporting this tired mom in her self care needs!“

“I picked up Blondery's S'mores Hot Chocolate and a cinnamon roll at the Beacon Farmers Market recently. OMG. The love that goes into their products is undeniable. Their cinnamon roll was everything good that makes up a cinnamon roll -- light, fresh, the perfect touch of cinnamon -- and THE ICING. I can't. Absolutely incredible. The only downfall was having to share with my daughter, whose eye about popped out of her head when she saw the deliciousness I was enjoying. Pairing that with their S'mores Hot Chocolate was the icing on the proverbial cake. There's magic in everything that Blondery creates. I love that they're a part of our community and am excited to try more of their creations. <3“

Not only can you stop in for a coffee (amongst other delicious drinks like a butterfly tea lemonade) and a sweet treat, you can buy a plethora of pastas and sauces to prep for dinner or the whole week! Sofia’s passion for quality sourced ingredients does not go unnoticed from the taste to the way you feel after you eat it. Flours is the only pasta I can eat that doesn’t make me lethargic or have a stomach ache after. I also have learned a lot about grains through their pasta. They have speciality pastas with grains such as rye, einkorn, and spelt which tastes delicious and nutritionally stands out from box pasta and other fresh pastas. Anywho, long story short, definitely make your way over to Flours! Go for the pasta and stay for the daily specials and baked goods. You will NOT regret it.“

“Came to Sander's to get some kosher baked goods for my coworkers. I really wanted to get some donuts, but it was too early in the morning, and they were still baking them. Ended up getting some rugelach that were fresh from the oven. The rugelach were a hit in the office. The staff really liked them. My coworker who was kosher really liked them too. A bunch of people just kept eating them throughout the day. The rugelach were delicious. The chocolate was good. The pastry wasn't too sweet. The vanilla ones were great too, but I really liked the chocolate ones the best. They have a dress code that they post in front of the store before you go in. Make sure you wear closed toe shoes, cover your knees, and shoulders. It shouldn't be a problem in the winter though. If you want some good baked goods, Sander's is a great option. If you're like me and wanting to pick up some kosher pastries, I would check which certification your friend/coworker accept as there are many they may or may not eat.“

“BEST coffee in Irvington!!! I'm there often for large orders to bring to work and Mike and Brittany are so patient, kind, and deeply care for their community. “Let me start with I am not one to write reviews however this one is worth the occasion. It was an absolute pleasure working with Wildly Cakes to get a cake for my bridal shower. We had a traveling themed bridal shower and Wildly Cakes was able to make this beautiful world map on the side. But it doesn’t just end there the cake itself tasted delicious. We got a vanilla cake with cookie butter filling and all my guests ranted and raved on how good it was. We actually have our wedding cake being made by them too and we cannot wait to see and taste it especially after this great first impression.“

“We randomly came her on a chilly afternoon and tried one of their chicken pot pie slices. Even reheated, it was some of the best chicken pot pie we've ever had! The filling was DELICIOUS and slightly different than the normal gravy/soupy consistentcy we expect with chicken pot pies. The dough was a little soft for our liking, but tasted amazing. A few more mins in the oven and I think we would have had a perfect slice.We are definitely coming back here to buy some of their pies to bring home next time! “Vilma’s really makes the best cake. Always so light and delicious. My family and I, We have been getting cakes from them for almost ten years. And they are always good, no matter the occasion. I have gotten many birthday cakes, my wedding cake and my graduation. I moved away from Rockland county 3 hours away and I still get cake from them. No one had this cake or they never answered their phones. Any bright and early the next morning I called here and they had this cake!
