“The owner is very nice. They do offer delivery and doordash. The food has a good taste and they have a large variety of food, salad, soups, drinks, and area to eat. Their menu is very colorful, and they have a nice window wrapping food display to open your appetite just by looking at it. You can order fresh tostones known as fried green plantains. “The Blue Sky Deli is not called "Chopped Cheese Delicious" but the food and the staff have not changed. I wanted to have one of their Chopped Cheese sandwiches for dinner and it did not disappoint. The sandwich is now $8.00 so it is not as cheap as it was before. Still the sandwich, which is basically a chopped up double cheeseburger with spices on a hero roll that is pressed, is still excellent. It is a great sandwich and really filling. The sandwich really is delicious.“
“The roast beef here is amazing! Hands down the best and freshest roast beef sandwich I've ever had! Super nice and friendly staff too!They lost 2 stars because when I ordered rice pudding I found the rice was crunchy and undercooked but the taste was delicious. They gained a star back because when I let them know about it they apologized profusely and gave me my money back even though I didn't ask for it and I wasn't expecting it. I just wanted to let them know so they were aware and they could cook it throughly whenever the next batch was made.“

“Waited a 1/2 an hour yesterday to get inside. How far would it get served. This place is the bomb the Polish food.Small deli doesn't look like much but once you're inside. We were standing in line with Someone that was From Poland. She is a special needs teacher at P.S. 034 John Harvard she was teaching in queens village where I grew up. Once inside we had To walk the gauntlet to the back of the store. To place our order. I was asking my Polish new friend what's this in the display? Order up our turn. Smoked Kabisi fresh kobonsa fresh Polish ham, Peroigies potato with cheese, and a dozen Sauercraut with mushrooms dozen each. Moving along Chicken cutlet 2 soup, white and red borscht Crepes 3 cheese add your own jelly My son likes the trader Joe's Raspberry jelly. Or just add blackberries for my garden. I almost forgot got to stuff cabbage with red sauce. The red sauce is missing something kind of meat. But the cabbage with meat, it is the bomb. I wanted to thank my Polish friend for helping us out. I had a nice bottle of wine together but you were gone. So if you're the Polish lady that works in queens village at that school PS34 give me a shout out. you have a bottle of wine coming your way. “Best deli so far, prices increase a little and portions still the same lol BUT the variety of the food is great and the flavor of every dish is absolutely a yes yes , the food looks clean, fresh and they renovated the restaurant now you can sit and eat there comfy and happy, from rice and beans to dessert I want to meet the cook one day and learn how to make pulled pork Puerto rica style is delicious. Soups, salads all well prepared even the salsa verde is made with that touch! Not to mention pupusas, empanadas are 1 over 10 but the variety types of rice are fantastic ! Enjoy“
