A great neighborhood place! This is our second time at Rincon criollo. We went there after coming back from JFK and we wanted to get some delicious Cuban food in Queens. As always, the service was prompt, courteous, friendly, and attentive. We ordered and appetizer of croquetas which were excellent and we then ordered our entrees of chicken breast, steak, fish, and ropa veja. Each dish came with black beans and white rice plus there were also two orders of plátanos. We finished it off with flan and Cafe Con leche. Everything was delicious as always. Highly recommended.

Exceptional customer service experience and delicious food. It's a tiny but awesome place in the heart of Queens. The food was well seasoned, and the coffee was really good! I will definitely be coming back to this location.

Been wanting to come here for a while now and I finally got a chance to stop by. The food was good and the service was great. I would definitely recommend this place.

Great friendly service that understood my choppy Spanish. We got the Ropa Viejo, oxtail, roast chicken, fried chicken, picadillo, and Cubano sandwich. For the sides we got fries, sweet plantains, tostones, yucca, and bacon rice with beans. Everything came out nice. Love the oxtail and ropa viejo. Only the roast chicken and the fried chicken was dry. Overall a delicious meal that we finished with flan and tres leche cake. We will be back.

Been coming here since I was a baby. My parents always took me and my brother here. And I still go till this day , it’s my absolute favorite restaurant in NY. Everyone I bring here falls in Love with the food . Never disappoints. Employees are all very humble. Food is authentic Cuban food and fresh.

Celebrated a birthday with a party of 7. Food was not good. Moro Rice tasted old, chicken noodle soup had an odd flavor. Most of the protein had a strong garlic after taste. The ropa vieja and the pork was the only good thing to eat. However the music and service was great.

You'll feel like you're in at home in this gem. Food is absolutely delicious! Chicken sandwich and ropa vieja are well seasoned. Tostones are huge and rice is great. Best part was the hand squeezed lemonade you see the staff preparing and it's all fairly priced.

The food is rich with flavor. The oxtail is stupendous, reminds me of my grandmother's cooking. Paella was delicious lots of seafood and meats. Got to call ahead to order the paella, takes time to cook. Service was great, friendly warm. We had a special birthday celebration as well. Overall great time with friends.

Came for the oxtail, it was ok but too expensive ($30). I thought the portion was gonna be generous but no. I get better oxtail from Miss Lily 7A in the East Village for $21. So…not worth it at this price. Other than that the vibe and service is warm and welcoming, with Cuban jazz in the back ground. Otherwise I would give 2 stars

Been wanting to try here forever and finally got around to it recently. I ordered take out and they projected the order to be ready a lot sooner than I anticipated. I've heard from other people that food can take about an hour to come out, but we got our order pretty quick! Ordered the vaca frita (flank steak stewed and fried with onion) and rabo encendido (oxtail stewed in the tomato sauce). Wish I got around trying the cubano, but both entrees were a little on the pricier end but had a generous amount of meat. The oxtails were very meaty and tender & the sauce it was stewed in packed a punch. Vaca frita had a nice smokiness to it and paired well with rice. Oxtail was probs my favorite but vaca frita came very close to it. Each entree comes with 2 sides. We opted for 2 orders of yuca fritas, maduros (the sweeter, more wet, fried plantains) and tostones (the smashed and twice fried plantains). All sides were great! Yuca fries were super crispy! They also have juices which I opted to get after I picked up my order. Keep in mind their juices are milk based and actually smoothies. But the mamey (sapote) jugo was so refreshing and nutty! Overall, loved the entire meal here. Very homey and authentic and highly recommend!

Decent Cuba restaurant. Service is also very good. Comparable to the Cuba restaurants I tried in Miami. I like the sandwich and Sangria very much. The oxtail is also very delicious but a little salty (saltier than I previously had).

Food was delicious it is authentic Cuban Food. I've been coming to this restaurant in all the stages of my life. Ive returned after many with fellow coworkers. I do remember it a bit bigger, I guess your perspective changes from childhood. I order the Shrimp with garlic sauce and rice with black beans, nice portions and price point.Update 2022: Still the best Cuban?? food in Queens, NYC.
