It was my first time at Rex’s which is surprising because it’s been in my backyard for so long. I was beyond impressed! The bread is delicious, the starter salad was tasty, and I ordered the cavatelli, which I will be dreaming about. Staff were so very friendly and the place is super clean. It’s great to see a small business thriving. I highly recommend!
If I could rate Rex's any higher than 5 stars, it still wouldn't give this local restaurant the credit they deserve! Having started operation out of the kitchen of a downtown bar, moving to a small bar with roughly 12 tables, branching out to include a deli, acquiring nextdoor space allowing double the occupancy- their growth and evolution is well-deserved, and their quality consistent. Can't believe last night was the first time I actually ate here. 5 stars across the board....three people for dinner and everyone agreed the food was excellent!! Service was outstanding from being seated, to ordering and receiving our meals. Portions were enough that I brought half of mine home to have the next day. Thanks for a great dining experience, will definitely be back.
