I like this place, been going since they opened, recently dined in and met the owner and his daughter, had a a nice conversation. I think it's important to support local businesses in Croton and this is one I'm happy

Love this place! I actually find it quite hard to find good Greek food in the area but so happy I found Piato! The food was amazing and the service was quick, warm, and friendly. Can’t wait to go back!!

Chicken souvlaki with Greek rice was delicious. The hummus was almost a chunky style, different but excellent. The frappe and the Alpha beer completed a really good neighborhood meal.

So...this restaurant USED to be good. Great, even! I had given it a solid five stars and praised the place. I'd say post quarantine the quality has been going down, down, down. They must have turned over chefs, lost help, I don't know, but it's not even worth going to anymore. Today will be my last visit. There are PLENTY of other great restaurants around that are comparable in price and far better quality at this juncture.Today I ordered a sandwich and a salad. It took 63 minutes for them to complete this order. A sandwich. A salad. That's it. They burnt the sandwich, I guess that's what took so long, and the lettuce in the salad was brown. They had to age the lettuce, too, I guess. Not only that but the tomatoes in the salad were mealy, like they were cut days ago and just left in the fridge to get gross. Also, they put the dressing in the salad and pre mix it. I don't know whose bright idea that is, but by the time I got home to eat the salad, the whole thing was gross and slimy...and I only live 8 minutes away, so I'm not taking responsibility for not sitting down to eat fast enough.Edit: They sell these small tins of cookies that they make there. They literally tasted like drywall and c*m. Yes, I know what these things taste like individually. It is not a desirable combined taste in any dessert, trust me.

We were the first customers on Sunday. We ordered two gyro platters , one with Greek rice and the other with spinach rice, the hummus and zucchini and egg plant chips and a moussaka and a vegetarian moussaka. Greek rice and the salad is great.

We came in for a late Sunday lunch with the family. I order a chicken souvlaki sandwhich, my daughter order the souvlaki platter which came with a small greek salad. My sandwhich was very tasty, chicken was juicy and well seasoned. I thought about ordering the chicken lemon soup but i changed my mind. Great server, friendly and very attentive. Will definitely be back next time, i am visiting my grand uncle.

Love this Greek spot near work. Calamari is on point, nicely seasoned and fried, crispy on the outside and buttery on the inside. Their lamb chops are to die for. Gyro sandwich is moist and tasty. You feel obligated to finish the whole thing, you don't want to eat that later, eat the whole thing now while it's fresh.

First impressions are always important. Very quick service, attention to detail, and a full authentic Greek menu. I decided to start with a classic gyro sandwich. Overall excellent cuts of meat, a tasty tzatziki sauce, with the most generous portions of lamb and beef for the price. Delicious wedges of tomato with just the right amount of onion. I decided to try a hot tea and I was very pleased with the slices of lemon and real honey that came with the order. Very soothing especially on a very cold winter day. For takeout, this is an excellent choice. Very neat and spacious inside. Recommend.
