Saturday morning 9:00 am. There's roughly 7 people in line when I arrive. Line is out the door? And onto the street? So much room inside and none of the employees could help out and say anything? "Hi everyone, please line up here, there is no need to go though the door and out onto the street..." Anyway - I agree with other reviewers, inside it felt like they are in the process of moving out. Staff was friendly and quick.

I remember what I loved about Bruegger's - the bagels. Olive oil and rosemary - so good!

Updating my review with a note. I have been in the area now for a few months. This location has become my go to location of Bruegger and bagels. It is not the most appealing of them all but the sandwich girls are generally a lively bunch and they complete my order accurately. The coffee here is so bad. In addition, I overheard male manager confirm that they make coffee and let it run out so if you want a specialty coffee or regular coffee you get what is there. I have tried twice and I do not like the coffee so I no longer care. All three locations of Bruegger that I have been to do not allow indoor dining. I hope that changes before it get cold. This location does have chairs and tables outside however it is dirty and uninviting. There are several other bagel shops around and I have tried the BTL there...I prefer Bruegger

Never again. Walked up at the posted opening time of 0600 to find the door locked and 2 employees running around like madmen. Waited 5 mins and he unlocked the door and walked away. Didn't hold it open, no explanation or apology for running late just a curt " what will it be?" Only 4 types of bagels available which he said he had to grab from East Greenbush. I ordered an onion bagel with chive cream cheese, lox and onions. I got home and bit into it and tasted the onions skin and lox that should have been tossed yesterday. This chain used to be decent years ago but now it's crap. $9 and change for garbage.

Went in today at 1:20 pm, the person behind the counter complained out loud about customers coming in, wondering "don't these people know what time it is?" (The place closes at 2, and the doors were unlocked and there were bagels on the shelves.) This was the second time this person complained about the existence of customers--about two weeks ago, I went in on a rainy morning and he was complaining out loud wondering "don't these people have anything better to do on a rainy day?", then kept on muttering to himself before finally giving me a different bagel than I asked for. Two encounters with him, both of them made to feel like customers were a huge burden. After so many years of frequenting this business, I will no longer return. If I could give them minus 5 stars I would.

One of my favorite places to get my bagels

I purchased 2 bagels as a take out. I ate 1/2 of the cinnamon sugar bagel driving in the car.

The bagels and bagel sandwiches are good, wish they had longer opening hours.

All these horrible reviews. Mine is for the lack of standard courtesies, like "thank you". The woman who cashed me out was distracted in her conversation with another worker. I think she told me how much (over $8 for two bagels with cream cheese which is outrageous) but didn't ask me if I wanted a receipt and didn't say thank you or anything for that matter. Sorry to have bothered you. I won't do that again! The bagel was good though. No napkins in the bag. That should be automatic, right?

It’s pretty well known Brueggers has great food. I was shocked when my wife and I visited the Delmar NY restaurant. It was filthy! Windows hadn’t been cleaned in ages, the interior door had a broken push bar hanging off it and the faux wood floor was coming apart creating a trip hazard. These are just in the dining room. My unfortunately had to use the ladies room and said it was disgusting! How can a restroom in Brueggers be filthy at 8:30 on a Monday morning when they aren’t open for dinner. The manager obviously doesn’t care. We will never be back to this restaurant. We actually have a better experience at the McDonald’s a half mile away

Disappointed - I moved away and no longer live near a brueggers. Every time I visit the area, I stop at a brueggers and bring home a dozen because where I live now they think that a dinner roll with a hole in it is a bagel. Brueggers has been my favorite for 20 years at this point.I don't know what I brought home this time, but they can't be called bagels :( I got a dozen, from a variety of flavors, and they're all disappointing. Soft, mushy, falling apart, sticking to each other and the paper, and poorly assembled. I make bagels myself when I have the time so I understand what goes into making them. I doubt if these batches were boiled at all, and they are coming apart at the seams (on a good bagel, you can't even see the seam).I'm disappointed that the quality has gone downhill and I have to hope that I just happened to be there on a day that a new person made all the bagels. I will try again next time, and hope for the best.Service was excellent.

Not having inside seats was a bummer as it was muggy out but bagels were fresh and the staff was welcoming. Flavored creamer would have been a BONUS but it is what it is.

Staff is very rude, overheard them talking about mouse droppings in the bagel area when I asked for a refund the older woman at the register asked me to leave. I’m sorry but I’ll never spend another dollar at Brueggers I’ve been a customer for over 3 years and Friday was my last time. Very disappointing

Second time coming around before close my food is all sloppily made because workers are nearing end of their shift. For whatever reason they think they can just throw your food together and make it a sloppy joe when in fact it’s a bagel for godsake. The food is expensive and I sure as hell not spending my money to have someone drench it in chipotle ranch overflowing like a river. I expect my food to be made good and almost to perfection if I’m spending 12 DOLLARS ON A SINGLE BAGEL!!? Just because your almost going home boohoo that you can do this to any of us this is the second time 1 star yo this is ridiculous I’ll just make an omelette at home. Do your job you work at a bagel store. Common sense to not d*** practically a bucket of sauce on anyones food. Work a 12 hr in a pact kitchen for a legitimate restaurant let’s see how quick you’d want to go home lol.
