A sadness has enveloped the land and all is in darkness. Yan's Chinese Buffet in Elsmere is no more, they have hung up their woks. My wife and I had been going there for over 28 yrs, since before our daughter was born. We watched the owners kids grow up and they did the same with our daughter. This was by no means 4 star dining but it was good food at a reasonable price with a friendly staff. They will be deeply missed.

Its delicious. Its fast and easy and you can have multiple plates and is all for the same amount all the time. And the best parts is it has soft served chocolate and vanilla ice cream machine sweet delicious watermelon . Even if the rooms outdated , they have something for someone.

This was my first time at this restaurant. I went about 30-45 minutes before closing. Upon entering the restaurant, you can see down the aisle the buffet. It looks as though it's double sided, like there's a continuation of the buffet on the other side. When we approached the buffet, it was only a mirror showing a reflection, and only had one side of food. There isn't many options like Dragon Buffet has. The pricing didn't reflect it either. They charged a little more than what I would have paid. The food was ok but I definitely won't be going back due to the price.
selection was limited and several dishes (esp. dumplongs) were undercooked. Place was surprisingly clean for single worker shop. Booth benches had poor cushions.

very reasonable for a family on a very tight budget did not have a whole lot to choose from but what they had to choose from was very very good and it's 799 and play what you can't beat that for a buffet so she's got a kid that can eat works well and staff was pleasant
