Came here and was very pleased with the service and food. Small restaurant with intimate vibes but very very very good food. We had the octopus, kale salad, and the mozzarella to start and that was phenomenal. I had the lamb bolognese, we also got the steak, fish, pasta special, and the pork osso bucco. Will be coming back for their suckling pig next!

It's fun to leave the Bronx and drive up to Westchester and see what they have. I never know really where to look. Quick search of the best restaurants of Westchester had this pop-up. It looked quaint and cute and it's in Dobbs Ferry, so how can you go wrong. An adorable little neighborhood. So we went in. Not a huge menu but a really well attended to menu. And excellent staff. The bartender was an incredibly gracious and sweet young lady whose personality just made the meal all the better. We have a limited diet choices because of salt and meat avoidance but they had enough for us to eat. The homemade mozzarella was just delightful. And that's not really my thing. I just wish they gave me a little more bread to mop up all of that delicious flavor. The fried octopus literally dissolves in your mouth. Delicate and delicious seasoning. And don't get me started on the Rigatoni. A bone filled with marrow, standing up right covered with rigatoni accented by caramelized onions and seasoning. It's a dish that you literally eat. Just one bite at a time to really enjoy the rich flavor. We had just intended on having these little bites as appetizers and it was so good. We literally ordered another one. I will definitely return for this dish alone. I must say for the meat eaters, the rest of the selections looked incredible.

It’s one of the Westchester’s little gem. Went here a few times now (happy hour/dinner) and the food is consistent. The pork is always good but the rigatoni always hits the spot! They have no parking lot so street parking may be a little tricky especially at dinnertime. The atmosphere is ok, as well as the service.

I'm here on holiday and with friends, my son and family we booked to eat the famous suckling pig we were already disappointed by the starter I didn't really understand what it was anyway with caviar which I think has nothing to do with a suckling pig second course salad with marinated sardines potatoes which were very hard and full of butter broccoli which should have been cooked for at least another hour and finally the suckling pig an eyesore and a disgrace to the poor and slow service we are Italians and there is nothing of Italian cuisine there we will return again NO

This is one of the best meals my husband and I have had in Westchester and by far our best Italian dining outside of Italy. The meatballs and the osso bucco are beyond compare. The pasta was perfectly seasoned. The wine and drink selections are wonderful. Our waiter was knowledgeable and attentive but we did note that it took us quite awhile to place an order for cocktails and that the table that ordered their dinner well after us were served ahead of us. But the food was so exceptional that it didn't really impact our experience.

The Cookery is fantastic! I brought a friend. It was his first visit and I promised he would love it and he did. I had the osso bucco and he had a burger special, substituting roasted potatoes for chips. Both our meals were great and we followed it with a slice of stickabutta pie. He plans to return with his family next time they are in town.

Food here is amazing. Not many people in Westchester know about this place. We have dined here many times and it is consistent service and food.

We go for reliable comfort food xoxoOssoBucco. But this time tried their specials: a silky raviolo w ash whipped ricotta and savory mushrooms for an app and a generously portioned fish sandwich for entree. There's always a great vibe and attentive wait staff.

The Cookery never fails to disappoint. Outstanding food and great service in an unfussy dining room. The Raditore is a go-to, and it was a delicious as ever on this outing. The octopus is melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the braised ceci beans, the day's special, was so good I wanted to crawl into the bowl.

While this place is pretty casual inside the food is pretty elevated. The Crisp Hash Brown and Duck Liver Cannoli were so good at brunch. For dinner I have had the Radiatore which is a lamb bolognese with fresh mint and parm. The mint is critical to this dish. So delicious! It's a great place to get a delicious meal with good service without any pretentiousness.
