We have been faithful customers for about 20 years. It's always fresh and delicious, and the servers are always warm, friendly and attentive. The perfect local sushi spot!

Straight out of Japan. Intimate with simple Japanese decor. Welcoming and proficient as a sushi house must be. We had a Sushi/ Sashimi dinner and a few rolls. Delicious. But no cucumber in the California rolls was disappointing. Rice was delicious too. So important. Reasonably priced. Don’t miss this if you love Japanese cuisine.

My family has been going here for 10+ years. Tokyo sushi is friendly, consistent, very reasonably priced, and high quality. This humble spot outshines most sushi joints on Long Island, and it feels like home.

Portion size for my dinner was small, unimpressive and over priced. I had shrimp and scallop teriyaki the sauce had too much oyster sauce and was overly thick and overwhelmed the food it should have accompanied. The sushi was average and presentation poor. The experience would be excusable but there are dozens of sushi places around for these guys to compete with. I will likely not go there again.

Honestly, we had to throw the food in the garbage. We got three sushi rolls and a beef and chicken teriyaki. Sushi smelled, looked terrible and made our stomachs turn. Teriyaki simply had no flavor at all and the brown noodles were tasteless. I don’t think I’ve ever posted a review good or bad before. That’s how bad this food was.

Nice local place for well made, fresh sushi. Staff is always friendly and nice. No dine in since 2020.

Been going there over 25 years and the food has been consistently good. Really clean and very friendly. Post Covid its one of the few places where they know us by the order. Going there now to get some more takeout

Old reliable. My go-to sushi spot, always quick and easy. Tokyo has hands down the best peanut salad dressing, I sometimes buy it by the pint.

Tokyo is an excellent little hole in the wall. I frequent there on about a weekly basis. Food is always fresh and well presented, staff is kind and reliable. I've never had a mistake or dissatisfying experience.

VERY Overpriced for what you get (quantity & quality). Reviews are highly misleading.

Really cool experience here. Went with another couple and I'm pretty sure we tried everything on the menu that wasn't sold out already. Every dish was excellent. Don't forget dessert!
