Dortoni is definitely the best bakery on LI. My family has been using them for many years and for many reasons. Their cakes, pastries , breads and cookies are absolutely delicious and consistently fresh and absolutely GORGEOUS.They are the only bakery I would even consider using for any special occasion cake.Angela- in the East Norwich location is the best. She’s extremely professional and helpful. She’s patient and very talented. She knew exactly what I wanted for my daughter’s engagement party. One of the most important cakes of my daughter’s life. I’m extremely detailed oriented and she was point on, with all my requests. Not only with design, decoration, but also with recommending different options. She showed me pictures of cakes, monograms and spent time looking at my cake stand for presentation and offering her professional opinion. All of which I appreciated. I knew when I left the bakery- that I left it to the professionals to make it perfect. Thank you Angela and thank you Dortoni for being so great!!

Dortoni bakery is great. Everything they make is not only delicious but, aesthetically beautiful. It's my family's favorite bakery. I couldn't imagine having a special occasion cake made anywhere else. It's such an important part of a party and celebration. Angela in East Norwich is amazing. She is a true professional. I'm a very detailed oriented person and she listened to everything that I wanted for my daughter's engagement cake...but, most importantly she made great suggestions, she went through photos of cakes, designs and monograms in such a patient & kind manner. She spoke about different options and flavors that would work, specialty fillings and icing designs. She's on point with every aspect and knowing that the cake will be something everyone will be talking about for a very long time. Thank you for being such an important part of our party- I wouldn't trust anyone else or any other bakery for the occasion.

We got the wedding cake of our dreams! You honestly don't know what to expect when you walk into the ballroom and see all your decor, florals, and cake for the first time. I hoped for the best and Dortoni East Norwich, you NAILED it and then some. Our photographer said it was the most beautiful wedding cake she's seen and we couldn't agree more. On top of that, it was utterly delicious, it was the best cake we've had and we're big dessert people. We got chocolate with cannoli cream and nutella cream. They even made the tiers taller for us to achieve the look I wanted... everything within the original budget. This was a perfect vendor.

I had my cake made here for my wedding in September 23 and working with Ang was awesome! She was such a pleasure to work with and so sweet!! And the cake turned out perfect (super cute and delicious)! So many people came up to me and said how good it was (especially the chocolate ganache!) If you're there definitely ask for Ang to help you, she's the best!! The tasting worked perfectly - we got to take home a box with 5 frosting flavors and 3 cake flavors so it was great to be able to try some cake at home and relax while enjoying it!

This bakery has the worst pickup policy on Long Island. If you preorder and prepay you still have to wait in a ridiculously long line to pick your order up. There should be a separate line for customers just doing a pick up. I waited over an hour for a cake pick up and the cake quality was average at best. Never again!

Simply the most incredible pastries, breads, cakes, pies, and cookies. You can trust that every single bite of anything from this bakery will be delicious and fresh, all the time. More importantly, the folks who run this place are heaven-sent. I haven't been here in about ten years as my travels don't bring me in the bakery's direction, but Angela remembered me and my family as soon as I walked in today. I needed to select pastries for health care workers as a gesture of appreciation. Angela, with incredible empathy and understanding, packaged up wonderful sweets for the hospital staff, all the while keeping me emotionally calm and being willing to listen while she put together a few packages for me. So...delicious, fresh baked goods are a given; but more importantly, the staff is so kind, engaged, generous, and thoughtful and able to sense what is needed at that moment. I will drive the 10 miles to be a patron even if I have 4 bakeries within a 2 mile radius of me at home. Thank you, ladies. Your kindnesses and support will be remembered always!

We have been searching for a truly outstanding bakery and have found it in Dortoni. Most recently we purchased a Challah bread to bring to a friend's that was the biggest, fluffiest and best tasting I've ever had - it was a big hit. likewise, the rugalach was outstanding and a real crowd pleaser. Our everyday items are now the cinnamon loaf and Italian pastries which are the best around. We are very happy to have them in the neighborhood, even if it means a little extra time at the gym. Highly recommended.

My go to Italian bakery when I am in the Levittown area. This place used to be great and 5 stars worthy, but not so much lately.Loved their rainbow cookies, cannolis, black & white cookies. But the main reason my family and I go to Dortoni's Bakery is for their custom-made cakes. We had a birthday cake made for my daughter's 4th birthday with an Olivia the Pig theme and an amazing pic of Olivia on the cake. It not only looked awesome but was the best cake I've ever eaten. Our friends and family members still rave about it. Fast forward and my daughter will be 17 years old this year and wants her birthday cake ordered from Joe's Sicilian Bakery in Bayside, Queens.
