“Really good food! I appreciate the number of options and customability. I like my plates a specific way and they do a really good job with them. My wife really really liked the hotdog she got (Fido Castro).There's an okay amount of seating outside and a little more inside. The dogs on the wall are all cute and it's nice to see all their names and silly selves!Highly recommend checking it out, especially if you like garbage plates!Parking: Parking can be a real hassle depending on where in the lot you need to park. People are often parked in really inconvenient spots and it can be difficult to back out of your spot if you're in the back of the lot. I would consider street parking on a busy day.“

“Had a plate here last night. 2nd one I’ve had from them and they are amazing. Very well done. My first and all time favorite was Marks, right across the street, but I feel they have slipped over the last few years as have other big names in the area. Great plates are becoming harder to find in rochester. Do yourself a favor and get one of these. I’ll be back.“

“Dave and Susie provided a most excellent meal for 60 people for my husband's surprise 70th birthday. It was a very reasonable price with a wide variety of food choices. They were professional, yet friendly and humorous. Dave was great during the planning of this event and helped me to plan the menu. I would highly recommend them for any occasion.“

“If there's a food trend, you best bet I'll be jumping on it Mochinut offers Korean corn dogs, boba beverages, and of course, mochi donuts. This time around, I only came to give the donuts a try. This location is really cute and fun, lots of seating! The service was quick and attentive as well. First the positive: I loved the texture of the donuts. Rice flour-based desserts have a chewier texture that I find really good, and the donuts here were no exception to that. They held up well over the two days after I bought them, which is a plus. Where they fell flat was, unfortunately, with the flavor. I got three different kinds (strawberry cheesecake, white chocolate raspberry, and taro), and they all tasted the same. Just vaguely sweet and sugary, which isn't a bad thing. I was just expecting a lot more in terms of flavor considering the price point. I might give Mochinut a shot again in the future for their donuts, but I definitely want to come back for a Korean corn dog and a boba tea. I think the concept here is really unique, and it's nice to have a different option for treats!“

“Thank you guys for existing. I was told "tom wahl's" is a staple of Rochester and I was not let down. As a Canadian from Toronto area who visited multiple times, I can safely report that this place is unbelievable with amazing burgers/fries and don't even get me started on the root beer float (also amazing). “Wow. I’d read about the garbage plate, and on a recent trip to Rochester, decided I had to try it out. I’ll say that it’s a little difficult to find the restaurant. The signage looks like it is a few decades out of date, and you wonder if there’s anything in the building. The building is also kind of falling apart. You’d never know that a veritable goldmine of culinary delight is hiding behind the crumbling brick. Go around the back and enter in the glass door that is unlabeled. The staff was very eager to explain the various garbage plates. It’s not fancy, but it’s great. I loved everything about my dining experience at Nick Tahou Hots. Food was wonderful and served within five minutes of ordering. I’d give it six stars if it were allowed.“

“My husband and I went for a Friday fish fry. At 530 it was busy but the food came out quickly. I had the fish sandwich. I like a beer batter fish more but this was very good. I wouldn’t hesitate to get it again. Of course the root beer is wonderful.“
