Went here after watching Dave Portnoy's pizza review. He said it was delicious pizza, but I'd say it was average, pretty good but not amazing. The eggplant chips with honey is addictive. Service was pretty good, but again pizza and cacio de Pepe was okay. Overall, I'd say maybe I'd go again.

Grandma pie has way too much cheese as others have stated... No reason for the hype here... Skip this place and find a different joint for true authentic Detroit style pizza... They're not doing anything revolutionary.. their thin crust isnt anything to rave about.. go check out pizzeria Baci in Montrose for true authentic Detroit and sourdough thin crust pies with 74% fermentation... This place doesn't do anything special with their dough sadly.....Overrated...

Wonderful pizza and drinks. The one problem is that it's hard to get
Really nice, upscale pizza place. Open kitchen. Clean bathroom. Service was fine, plus our server went out of her way to talk to the kids, which was very nice. We tried several varieties of pizza, all of which were quite good. Place was very busy, but we were seated and attended to immediately. Nice view as well. Good place.

There’s something for everyone at this place since they have options for people that want to eat healthy and options for people that want Italian American comfort food. They source high quality ingredients from farms that use regenerative organic agriculture practices and it shows in how the food tastes. Mike, the owner, is very nice and really makes sure each customer feels at home.

Good food, decent service, surprising additions to the bill at the end, some 2% kitchen surcharge, if I’m paying $30 for a personal pie why do I also have to pay for your staffs salary? Don’t you make enough to cover that. I don’t support it and I won’t ever go back because of it. Overall I give it a 6/10

The pizza is one of the best locally. I follow David Portnoy and he gave Polpetina a very high score and it was well deserved. If anything, I thought the score should be higher. I liked it better than Johnny's in Mt. Vernon. I ate a whole large pie by myself and stole a couple of slices from the other pie I bought for my family. I will be going back soon and often. My new favorite pizza place.
"Grandma pie" was more like a bad sicilian. Nowhere near a Grandma pie. Smothered with way too much cheese and no tomato. Two stars because the doigh was fresh.

Paid 70 bucks and waited 40 minutes to pick up 3 little sandwiches and some fries. That’s too much time and money to waste for very little satisfaction.

I’d expect a DJ party in Manhattan but not in tuckahoe on a Sunday after church. Wait staff was more occupied with the music, which was way to loud. I ordered my pizza and waited outside as the wait staff hoarded by the door dancing and giggling as my pizza was getting cold having been finished for God knows how long. Thanks for the 30 dollar cold pizza I ordered in person

Portnoy was on the money!! But no this place is amazing. The vibes were incredible. The service was great. Many many happy faces. We had the Stracciatella and Prosciutto pie and the black fig pie. Both were incredible but the black fig pie was unlike I ever had. Extraordinary flavor and taste. Highly highly
