I have been here a few times in the past - this last time, Sunday was the worst - I got some type of food poisoning by eating some sushi - -let the eater beware - I was losing it on all ends all night - it was 100% from that food --it was the only thing I ate that day - i dont think I will give them another

All you can eat means sacrificing quality. Ordering can be confusing and it generally comes to the price of an ala carte menu. I think this is good place for the college kids. I don't prefer the hustle and bustle of the cafeteria like atmosphere. I didn't have a negative experience but I feel it's just okay.
They have all you can eat sushi for a good price. The all you can eat is great and money will sent. Not fancy but a great place for date night or get together with friends.

So I'm giving this place an average of 3.5 stars. I'm a big fan of AYCE sushi and have eaten at every AYCE sushi within a 7 mile radius from where I used to live in queens. I have recently moved to this area and will be doing the same here. Let's start with the kitchen items. The portion size for the fried calamari is good. At every ayce sushi place I've gone to always just gives you 4 to 5 pieces. I can't decide if it's a good or bad thing because it might be a ploy tactic to get you full faster rather than eating the sushi. But i have to admit the mango sauce for the calamari is super tasty. Other places with the mango sauce doesnt have much mango flavor and is more tangy than anything else. Next is the garden salad which is a bummer. Sauce was very tart and did not taste like the usual ginger dressing. there was only one very tiny piece of cucumber and it looked like someone took a bite out of the cucumber cause the seed part was missing and the rest was iceberg lettuce. I gave them a benefit of a doubt and ordered it again which had the same result. It leads me to believe that the cucumbers are cut very ahead of time and the seeds are intentionally removed due to it rotting faster. Next the Kani salad which was 85% cucumber and 8% crabmeat and rest kewpie mayo. The mayo also had this strange tang to it. Next miso soup which was standard but very lukewarm. Age tofu was standard, but the grilled squid needed to be grilled longer. There wasn't any grilled taste to it. Next is the sushi which was really sad to see them use the ploy tactic I haven't seen in years. They packed the rice SO much thereby making it VERY dense and heavy to fill you up faster. It was also VERY disappointing that tuna sashimi wasn't even an option which i have never seen in any place not offer it. Next they do the standard of not giving you everything you request. So if you ask for 10 pieces of something you get 6. Which every place ive gone to always does. Their godzilla roll is also VERY different from other place they use spicy tuna. Lastly, when calling to confirm the price in advance one price was quoted and we weren't charged the amount they stated even after mentioning what the price was for HOLIDAY. I gave them an average star because the service was decent and at least it was clean and they give you the gold standard of napkins instead of the cheap flimsy feelings ones. So overall, average and nothing that really great that stands out cept the fried calamari, the napkins , and the saving grace of a parking lot
It was one of the best sushi restaurants I have ever been to. Would definitely give it a 10 out of 10. I am on my way back to my house on the Cape and I'm just wishing I got one more meal before I left. I am also wishing they had a sushi place like that near us!!!Parking: Hard to find parking, had to look for parking meters which were not easy to come by on a Saturday night. But anyway parking was hard but in the end it was worth looking for the spots because the food was soooo soooo good!!!

Have been coming to this restaurant for several years without issue. My son did not like the taste of one of the rolls, attempted to turn it back and the Manager/owner, came to the table to say we cannot turn back a roll. That if the roll is not eaten we would be charge al a carte for the whole meal (not restaurants written policy). She (the owner/manager) was aggressively rude, continued to raise her voice lecturing my wife and I. I attempted to speak calmly. Unfortunately not able to get a word in. I allowed her to continue her rant. She left the table I attempted to speak with her again at the front counter only to be the recipient of her rant. I explained after many years we will never return, she responded "who cares". The absolute lack of customer service and ability to have a civil conversation was disappointing. Will not ever returning, nor recommend this place.Horrible!!!!Follow up: upon returning home my wife felt ill and began vomiting.Terrible customer service!!Terrible after being a regular customer for 5 plus years. Clearly the owner does not value customers.

Food is delicious. The place got a lot better recently. Proportions are great. Way less noisy. I stopped going because they reduced the amount of fish and increased the rice amount.
