After having been satisfied for years, just ordered a take out chicken cutlet sandwich (12/18/23, 12.30) and it really crossed me out: black hair fried into the chicken breading and the cutlet was days old. I won't be going there for a long time.

Full scale Italian salumeria with-canned goods, boxes of pasta, frozen Italian dinners. Fresh mozzarella, salads, fresh sausage, dry sausage, hot food for lunch as well as cold cut sandwiches. My daughter's favorite sandwich is chicken salad on a roll with mayonnaise. My favorite is ham and white American on a roll with lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise. There is usually a long line at lunchtime, what they have seven or eight people making sandwiches so you're only online a few minutes.Sal E. New Rochelle

I remember as a kid growing up in Mt Vernon, my dad & I would go to Zucarelli every Sunday....not much has changed, STILL GREAT QUALITY. Everyone is willing to help, always with a smile. Best Italian Deli ???

So I've been coming here for years, and much more often when I worked down the street at the College. The sandwiches in my opinion were always good, ESPECIALLY the chicken cutlet hero with the spicy olive oil. This past weekend I came here to try their breakfast and it was pretty good. Sausage, egg cheese and hash brown on roll with ketchup and hot sauce = $6.It's not my good to for breakfast, but the staff here is always friendly, and it's pretty cool that they have aisles of dry goods.
